Draft Day 3

For those wanting a long corner, Keenan Lewis is at the facility today.

does he have anything left in the tank?

If he passes physical, hell yes!

He should be well rested, he knows our scheme, nothing much to lose but some spare change

The 31-year-old cornerback spent his first four pro seasons in Pittsburgh before spending three seasons in New Orleans. He sat out the 2016 season while recovering from a hip injury. The Steelers elected not to sign with the 6'0, 198-pound Lewis after meeting with him last offseason, as they wanted to see how his hip recovered from surgery.

Safeties flying off the board. Both Tedric Thompson and Rayshawn Jenkins gone.

Butt is gone.

Dorian Johnson is gone.

Butt isn't gone. Was a mistake.

What is up with Lawson...why ishe still out there? Moats is old and we have no idea what Chickillo is. We should draft him and trade up if necessary

It really sucks that both Thompson and Jenkins are gone. No true guy to fit as a future deep safety for us right now unless they take an athletic talent and hope he develops.

Carl Lawson to the bengals

well there goes the hope for doubling down

makes my hope go right to TE

I think it probably has to do with his injury history...He was unable to stay healthy during his College career...

Torn ACL?

Butt - we can wait till he heals - never was a burner

I think if they get Butt, Leggett, or Kittle, you have a very good TE. All have great characteristics about them, different, but all have some upside.

Is Leggett the most explosive?

Rams take Josh Reynolds, a big speedy edge WR that the Steelers liked. Not that we need a WR now, but...

Kittle is probably the most explosive and might have the biggest upside.
Butt may be the best blocker of the three, but he is limited as an athlete. I see a poor man's Heath Miller, maybe slightly better than James.
Leggett is a scrappy blocker and better than average receiver, but he does the little things that help you win, like converting first downs, comes up big in big moments, and will help his teammates out.

All have something good about them.

I have a guy that might make it to us, but I always hate to mention it because I feel like I am asking to be disappointed.
