Draft discussion thread.

LT can't keep up with Jimmy.
right.

LT kept up with Vick and I'd guess Vick is faster than Johnny.
Vick is also a bit bigger than Johnny.
Johnny will get broke.

It is confirmed, the Browns are going nuts to have Johnny. He is destined to be an utter complete failure. Bradshaw, Marino, Young, Montana all would fail in the mistake by the lake....why? Because the Browns ******* suck.

so the Browns have some vet experience for Johnny to learn from

Brian Hoyer
Alex Taney
Tyler Thigpen
Vince Young

I was referring to Jimmy Graham. I have no problem with Timmons getting to a mobile QB. Johnny Foolsball won't get by Timmons or Shazier.

I was watching a ticker and it said: "The Bengals pick is in...." and the first words that popped into my head were "custody".

Bengals grab Dennard to salt that wound for picking Shazier

I just hope there are some hidden Jewell's for corners in the latter rounds as well as WR. It is just the beginning. I wonder if Chicago took their guy?

Shazier is versatile, can play ILB and OLB, smart, has freakish athletic measurables particularly in the area of speed. 25 reps in the bench press not too shabby either. My Guess is with Fuller gone he was ranked the highest on the Steelers board above Dennard and others. The pick makes sense since the middle part of the defense was the weakest link. There may have been other needs but none of the available players likely ranked higher. The pick fixes the depth problem at LB. Also gives us a solid starting LB corps with Worilds, Timmons, Shazier and Jones.

Also, plenty of good receivers and CB's left for later rounds.

I hate drafting Buckeyes... their non-conference games are against utter nobodys with basically zero NFL potential talent and their conference games aren't much better. He may look great on tape and he very well may end up being a very productive player. I just think it's hard to evaluate the actual talent level of a player when they play so many of their games against such subpar competition.

Shazier had a great bowl against ultra-fast, ultra-talented Clemson.

Tomlin and Colbert both said Shaz has improved every year, is very productive, has no holes, can flat out run, and he´s a defensive play-maker which is something they were looking for. He´s projected to play inside next to Timmons.

I like the pick. We´re getting faster and adding more play-makers on defense. The middle of the defense just got upgraded with youth, speed, and play-makers with additions of Mitchell and Shaz.

Take a moment and read this about Shazier....then tell me you do not like him. Other than questioning his fit, have to like the guy.

I recall reading about similar circle jerks pertaining to Timmons and Hood.

Look, the way the 1st round progressed ******* SUCKED, but it shouldn't automatically make one feel better with whom they were forced to settle.

I do not see how this makes them better in the bigger picture. I really don't.

Re-watch some of the games from last season when we were getting blown up in the middle of the defense. The pick will then make more sense.
