Cameron Erving was said to have been a 1st round pick last year, but returned to the Seminoles. He's since moved from LT to Center.
Obviously showing flexibility.

Why not add to our OL?

No way we go with a hybrid NT, that's what McClendon is. We either go CB or OLB, I'm sure of it. Maybe safety, but Landon Collins will be gone. The Oregon kid just torn his ACL in practice and can play slot. I'll take him in rd 3-4 as well.

If he is the future why haven't they played him more?

Regardless I really feel they need a CB and a OLBer.

One can be had free agency (which I am hoping for)

or hell both, and then go BPA for the whole draft......

we don't have money to bring a top pass rusher in free agency . i made some count we have a lot of dead money and we have only 37 palyers under contract ..couple with the troy and kiesel retire (probably) c.allen and cam thomas cut . they are 33 . we are 4 milion under now then we should save something like ten with some post june cut . 14 milion to sign 20 people ? they should resctruture somebody

As far as the cap situation, it increases and they can extend restructure to bring one significant signing.

Hell it seems like every year the FO spends a decent amount, but still manage to bring in free agents.

This upcoming off season maybe quality over quantity.

We need a stud 3-4 NT, it's the #1 thing needed to make this 3-4 work. Our D was solid, top shelf when we had Steed, and then got soft when he left until Hampton was drafted and then we got weak again when Hampton retired. It is night and day; we need that immovable NT or our whole D won't work. We have some OK NTs on the team, but not good enough to make this D into a top 5 kind of D.
