Back in the day, me and a friend went to a concert. We had a 750ML of 151 and we snuck it in with us. We got two small cokes at concessions and these two (nice looking chicks) asked what the cokes were for…… we flashed them the Bacardie amnd said grab yourselves a couple and come sit with us……… they did. We drank that whole bottle on those 4 small cokes……..

Those chicks were fun and yeah,….. had to drive home afterwards….. this was in the 80s.

Philosophy mostly… Tomlin Ds have been known to surrender yardage in safe zones with leads… they do a good job of limiting scoring but they haven’t been the “ defend every blade of grass “ type D. I think Pickett will be very effective in a game management style offense but i don’t think Tomlin will play aggressively for tds … we will get down into the red zone then run run pass kick…

I dont think anyone is happy with the results the last several years. That bein g said, Even Noll and Cowher went through slumps with bad losing seasons. It is probs natural to do so. When a ton, draft late a ton.

Tomlin has managed to avoid that. Mostly with a HOF QB but a few without. Lets see how the next few years pan out. I for one am extremely optimistic.
