It’s been Shaun King, and only Shaun King so far to go on record and connect the Pittsburgh Steelers to Deshaun Watson. That number has now doubled to two.

ESPN analyst, and talk show host Kimberley Martin just tweeted that five teams were closely watching the Watson situation today.

Teams discussing Deshaun have already factored in a potential league suspension. At this stage it’s not a deterrent. Suitors — and there are several — are thinking well beyond 2022.

And w/ Watson having a say in where he goes, teams will make their pitch over the coming week

Interesting enough division rival Cleveland could also be in on Watson. They of course have grown upset with quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Martin says she expects teams to make a pitch to Watson in the coming week. Because he will need to waive his no trade clause he will be able to have some say in his next destination.

Minutes after Martin posted this tweet, the usually wrong Jason La Canfora claimed the Steelers aren’t in on Watson.

The Steelers are not going to be a part of this Deshaun Watson pursuit.

Here is another one. We will say that Aaron Wilson is usually completely in the know with all things Texans.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have not and are not expected to be a player in the Deshaun Watson trade market, according to multiple league sources.

We will see what happens in the next few days.

ESPN talking heads have said PIT was in on Rodgers, Wilson, and Wentz. They are apes throwing crap on the wall just to see if it sticks

I heard we are looking for a qb
I heard the same. Also heard that the Steelers started the Watson rumors so that whoever they took in the draft looked better by comparison.

So who's the second journalist connecting Watson to the Steelers? Because according to this article there's no one ele

Talk is cheap.

He will not be a Steeler.

Panthers love themselves a running QB

**** no! **** no! **** NO!!!!!!!!! We do not want him. Do people even realize how much he will cost in cap space and draft capital not to mention he is still facing at least half a season suspension, if not an entire season? That is, if, the league is consistent with their punishments for "conduct detrimental to the league". He may not be facing criminal charges but you can bet their will be civil cases to keep his mind elsewhere for at least a couple years unless he hurries up and pays them off as all athletes and celebrities do so they can get rid of the distraction.

her source was likely shaun king's idiotic opinion

no trustworthy sources is reporting the Steelers have any interest at all in Watson much less being willing to pay the asking price
