Yeah, no. Cars aren't in the constitution - and might I point out that with all of the regulations, licensing, safety laws, etc for driving more and more people die on the roads and highways due to carelessness and reckless behavior. Perhaps we should put everyone in plastic bubbles.
So, should we all give up our guns and leave guns in the hands of the government only? Yeah, that always works out so well.

There's a direct correlation to these mentally ill people, mass shootings, and psychotropic drugs. Over 90% of all mass shootings involve someone on, or coming off of those drugs.
The rise in mass shootings aligns with the timing of mass prescription of serotonin releasing drugs as well.
Then we see a rise in transgenderism....

The right to bear arms is protected by our Constitution. Driving is not. Most of what you have posted is factually incorrect at best if not outright lies. YOu can’t just walk into a store with an ID and walk out with an Assault Rifle. You have to go through a very long process and get a tax stamp to do so. What you are referring to are not assault weapons they are basic semi-auto rifles with scary looking handles and interestingly are not even close to being the main weapon used in the vast majority of what gets classified as mass shooting. That would be handguns. I get the emotional knee jerk response but what you propose does nothing to fix the actual problem and only shreds our rights without actually protecting anyone.
