There's been a lot of negative things on here and rightfully so for the most part. The Steelers have been very disappointing in a lot of areas. Most frustrating is their inability to play complete games.
But there have been some encouraging things.
OL is improving. DeCastro and Pouncey are starting to play well together. It's still a work in progress but no doubt they are much improved from last year. The run blocking is hit or miss but at least there are some plays where there are real running lanes.
Bell is a stud. The OL is better but still not great and Bell is making something from nothing on a lot of runs.
Antonio Brown. He is now one of the best playmakers in the NFL. He's still able to get open with defenses trying to take him away.
Brice McCain - could it be? A CB with ball skills? the steelers have gotten few INTs the last few years and they ones they have gotten are usually on bad throws. McCain's INT vs the Jags is the first real play on a ball i can remember in a long time. Let's hope this is just the start of something and not a fluke.
Tuitt - got on the field and made a play. The defense is complicated and Tuitt made a bunch of mistakes in preseason. If the light is coming on then he can spell Keisel and keep him fresh so the Steelers can have a nice rotation.
McLendon - he has looked really good.
