Halftime show…

Or you can be fans of both and the great & unique things they both brought to the table, Jimmy.

**** that. Jimmy hates change. We changed from Ronald Reagan to Bill Clinton, from Donald Trump to Dementia Joe Xiden, from an unapologetic capitalist society to a flaccid socialist-lite country that elects imbeciles like Annoying Oral Crap.

You must be an 80's guy. A lot of crap started to surface in that decade.
Weird Al was a comedian, he doesn't count so much.
In my opinion, the 70's was the richest time in American music. There was good straight ahead rock and roll, hard rock which was the prelude to the heavy metal "hair bands" of the 80's, Motown, Disco
That decade produced many acts that were more than the "one hit wonders" ...The Doobie Brothers, Eagles, BTO, Zeppelin, The Stones, Chicago, Elton John, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond...each producing multiple hits. Although the Stones and Motown began in the 60's they were still strong during 70's.

That kind of talent doesn't exist today.

No argument at all on the bands you list and the rock of the 70s. That was a great musical decade. Except Chicago. Great yes...but makes me wanna vomit. Yep, Motown was great in the 70s.

Jimmy not a fan of change. Jimmy would rather shove a pencil in his hear then listen to rap. Jimmy no like the AOC from the SBE (short bus express).

LOl...Chicago. Soft Rock, not to everyone's taste but still highly popular and highly talented was my point. Soft Rock was another one of the many genres that emerged in that decade. A few members had music degrees.
In fact Jimi Hendrix...(another 70's product) so impressed with Terry Kath lead guitar playing, had stated that Kath was better than him.

Watched Empire of the Sun again recently - something Jimmy wouldn't understand the lyrics to as well but so beautiful (even with all that hate in his heart), he couldn't not like:

also splains why Jimmy's still wearing the waist band from his tighty whities purchased in 92 (errythang else done did fall off)

Meh to each their own… rap and hip hop have lots of great songs… sure they have horrible ones too, but most genres do… there are tons of rock songs about rape, drugs and violence…and not all rap is “ gangster rap”

My guess is a lot of people are like i used to be toward country music as a youth… completely biased against it until i gave it s chance and found that some of it was no different in theme than the rock and pop songs i was already listening to… but hey nobody has to like anything… its still a free country after all … well sort of lol

what we need is a halftime show with Willie Nelson, Snoop, Metallica and Ariana Grande

Willie and Snoop would have a smoke off.

Between the tolerance those two have built up, the whole damn stadium would be high as well (if a dome). Can you imagine an entire dome hot-boxed? :ROFLMAO:

Can't say that wouldn't be entertaining. What's the newest slogan "We're In This Together"? Would bring a whole new meaning.

Definitely a group I like.

"We're all sick boys!"

Take it back that I don't consider them punk after revisiting this one. While their later stuff slowed down, this album was most definitely punk. We hijacked the **** outta this. :p

Yall gonna make me lose my mind.

And what the hell does he have on? He must've took it literally.

Progress means change as long as it’s not forced. *ahem* Bill Clinton.

But seriously lol. Change happens. Those who fail to adapt get left in the dust. In the wind - kansas. Great song

That would be a horrible halftime show

"Maybe I didn't smoke you
Quite as often as I could have
And maybe I didn't roll you
Quite as big as I should have"

Alright yeah, work is a little too slow today. o_O

There’s a jukebox thread. Beat it before I call the cops

That's Tim to the left and there's a huge sub-woofer, amp & audio player with rap on loop below the table.
