How to fix this offense and team

You know, if you would just stick to the discussion, and quit all the personal attacks, or looking for personal attacks of yourself, your mangina wouldn’t hurt so much.
I am still laughing at his draft board being the best on the internet.

That's some comedy gold. I will fall asleep with a smile on my face.

yeah me too. I saw better things from the offense when Mason Played.
Bottom line is none of the three amigos has done well.

I am curious at seeing how this plays out this season and next, it should get really interesting.

Nobody at QB is fixing this shitshow. I would give Rudy another shot to make the team in camp
Sure as long as Rudy doesn't road block bringing in legitimate competition. I am ok with his third string status.

i agree... But i have seen enough this season to say,, hey kenny needs a break , until canada is gone, if winning is what u want,,, switch.. imo this is how #1 picks get washed up.

Well you also think Rudy will save this team

I said we are getting nothing from the Quarterback position. I said Rudolph even at what we have seen in his limited play is better than Kenny. At very least we get a guy who would throw for 3750 yards 25tds and 18ints in a full season. Nothing great. But we could win with that type of QB play. Especially considering Burrow and Watson are out for the year.

It would be even better if you didn’t have to edit your reply 10 times to find a word not censored
I could care less what the guy says about me. I know who I am and what I have accomplished. I also know I am not a sniveling snowflake that runs to the mods every time that vagina aches. Or do I think I am better than my fellow man. His issues as a human being run deeper than this site.

Where was all this concern when I was getting trash talked? So nah. I’ll just say it how it is.

That is why I believe in true competition. We didn’t see that this year. Management had an agenda with their new signings. I never understood Rudy coming back after not getting a shot. Then again, I have never had the opportunity to make that much money for doing virtually nothing.

I think they are worried that what is behind him is worse. Which I tend to agree. If they had a competent backup I would see more of an argument. I just don't think highly of Mitch or Rudy.

I said it in another thread beside the coaching changes, I would be ok with drafting a BPA if a QB meets that definition. Remember the Redskins drafted two in 1 year and their second option ended up playing better. I think it was in the same year if memory serves me well.

In this system? You are higher than a kite.

Sometimes you bring that on yourself, I can tell you that firsthand
That is his MO. Talking down to posters, then when I call him on it.. it is poor Ford. Ford deserves everything he gets and then some.

First of all I will say,I would have been alright with Mason starting the season. I thought getting Mitch was a waste of time. Any game I had ever watched of him,I thought he was exactly like he has played so far. I kind of thought he or Mason were basically the same in talent. Both of them average at best.

Now that being said.....you keep on going on and on and on and on about Mason not getting a fair chance. Have you never been involved in team sports? There is obviously a ton of practice and evaluation time. He was drafted in 2018!

He has had tons of time to prove to the higher ups that he deserves to play from a talent point of view. Obviously he hasn’t proved himself worth ****. Now you can argue that all you want. You certainly don’t seem him practicing day in and day out. He’s got so much talent that they signed a below average QB in free agency and drafted A QB in round one.

Rudy is what he is. A third string QB on a bottom 3rd team in the NFL.
That you even mention that he’d be a great fit In Carolina and do well....or elsewhere as a starting QB is just Laughable.

I am sure teams are just laughing at the Steelers right now,and making Rudy their #1 free agency acquisition.
That you have gotten 25 pages on this is really quite remarkable. A real feather in your cap.
And by the way....I wish Rudy nothing but the best. And as usual anyone that disagrees with you is nothing but a Kenny Homer. He’s got a heck of a lot more to prove to me. I definitely think his talent ceiling is higher than Mason.

I would have been fine with going into this season with Mason starting and if he showed he wasn’t the the guy then move on next year. I didn’t like reaching on Pickett then handing him the starting job and watch him destroy our season. I mean he hasn’t even played as well as Trubisky. That’s pathetic. He’s not anywhere near NFL ready. He has improved from hot garbage to just garbage so that’s a positive. But he has a long way to go.

I have been. I honestly believe Mason not getting an opportunity has more to do with Politics and ticket and jersey sales. And I also don’t trust this coaching staff to evaluate talent. I saw improvement in Rudolph 2 years ago vs Cleveland and I saw a better game than the stats indicate vs the Lions. Not willing to anoint him the heir apparent but enough to say he should get an opportunity.

After 10 games you know that? I guess we’ll see. Because I don’t know that. I have only seen 10 total games. But I guarantee this he signs elsewhere and we’ll see what happens.

You laugh but I bet there’s a few teams that come at him hard. I doubt he makes it a week on the market.

No....of course you didn’t say this Ford. I just made it all up in my head. Remember when I wanted to make a wager with you on this? I can show you those posts too if you’d like.

They say taking salmon oil pills is good for the brain Fordy. It might not be too late for you.

Sure if you want to bet.....no problem. Think of the parameters in the bet. You say teams will come at him hard. And last less than a week. It will be hard to prove that teams come at him hard. I mean if I was him.....being a 3rd string QB on a bottom feeder team,I’d probably jump at any offer I get. So that might be hard to prove. Also signing in the first week. Once again he might sign at anything he can get. Also with your confidence in him......are they signing him to be their starter? All these teams? That are coming at him hard.? Well they must be.

So you think of the specifics......and to make it interesting......no posting or coming to this site for a year? 6 months?
Not this week type of bet BS.
Well, I write for this site so probably can’t do that. I would say if Rudolph lasts longer than a week I have to put up a Pickett avatar and if he signs within the week you put up a Rudolph avatar. Gotta keep it up for the 2023 season.

Just in case you’re too lazy to look it up

My reply.....

You can keep on writing for the home page.......just no posting?
Fan boy avatars mean nothing to me. I’ll keep my pug picture.

I think signing for in a week is too broad So....what does he make as a Steeler 3rd string QB this year?
If he signs in a week his contract should be higher than what he makes now.....probably higher than what Mitch makes.
You keep on saying he should be a starter and other teams would value him that way. So let’s come to an agreement on what they would be the minimum that he signs for. Not that he just signs with anyone for minimum. As you Said.......teams will come hard for him. In a week.
I still think 6 months or a year of not posting on here is fine.

Still denial Fordy? Need more?

I seen at least ten posters run circles around Ford. He either brings something else into the discussion deflecting, tells the posters how they don't understand football, or how watching his game tape is superior to anyone. Orrrr writes a book on silly comparisons.

I love when he tried to small sample college discussions with posters that watch college football religiously. One of my favorite comedy acts to watch.

Now he has added his draft board is the best on the internet. Another outlandish chest bump.

I stand by everything I ever said about the guy.

If he wasn't such a colossal tool I wouldn't give him the grief I do. But I will not stand by why he disses fans and players religiously with his pompous know it all bullshit.

The question I have is why has KP regressed from the last 6 games of last year or from the preseason this year?
Is it the ribs, causing him to be over cautious and giving him happy feet? The o-line that occasionally looks like a turnstile?
The conservative, predictable play calling that ignores the middle of the field?
When is the last time they've had a QB excel, Ben from 5 years ago?

This cancer will continue to grow in the locker room until something of substance is done, and not just another cliche comment from the NFL's greatest coach ever.

Of course, we'll never know the answer to this, because the house will never be cleaned. The Steelers were fortunate to have Ben covering for many of the teams short comings over the years, without him they will they will be a team drafting the next QB every 2 years.

It is frustrating that they refuse to look in the mirror. 9-8 is how they will continue to roll.

Someone said it and it is starting to look true that they are turning into the Browns.

Their only saving grace is they draft well which dipped at the end for Colbert. But that only gets you so far. Someone on O and D need to be able to teach and need to be X and O capable.
