Pickens is a special talent, but it still seems like there a lot of plays where he is not where Kenny expects him to be.

He is NOT Megatron. And i wish him and the OC would STOP thinking that he is. It's not like Picken's beanpole as* is 240. or even 220.

1. There are way, way too many balls just thrown up there for Pickens to rebound and he does NOT come down with them. i keep hearing how Pickens has that contested catch skills and then i keep seeing him NOT win those catches in regular season games. Being fair, those are 1 out of 10 for all the other WRs in the league as well.
2. Pickens is not going to get PI calls like he was Lebron or something.

i wish they would just stop.

They may be stuck with the playbook, but they can sure as hell tweak things,remove ****,get player input and give Kenny the ability to audible out of a play he knows won't work.

There's a lot they can do if they can the OC who has proven he's not changing ****. There's is no reason they can't be working on new plays and formations. It's not like this offense is superbowl bound. What's to lose? The longer they **** around with this ,the longer it takes to move forward. I'd start OC shopping now.

Not to mention just simply mixing up when plays are called, and being less predictable. Changing who is calling the plays is just as helpful as installing a better playbook. Sure we'll be stuck with his plays, but not his terrible predictability in play calling

The debate about Canada and the offense will rage on for the rest of the season. I for one, have seen enough. It's barely a high school scheme. I can get into specifics, but not now.

As improbable as this win appeared at halftime, knowing the Ravens could have had up to 28 points without the dropped passes..... There is one thing I saw today that stands out like a shining star..... And that is this team, both on Offense and Defense.... Did not quit. Not one shred of giving up.

And that is a sign of the coaching staff, specifically the head coach. I'm the first one to say I've lost confidence in MT.... The atrocious offense first and foremost. But this team didn't quit today. Kudos for that.

When asked in the press conference about the play, Tomlin said "it just developed. We knew they have an appetite for zero coverage in those weighty moments. It presented itself to us but I don't know if those were our intentions."

That may have been the play Kenny called in the huddle but that 100% was not the play Canada sent in. Thus the even more stunned than usual look on his face.

Oh I think we know from Tomlin's comments in the press conference when asked about the play. That was 100% NOT the play Canada called.

It may be unpopular-after watching the Gunner fumble, I can’t quite pin it on him. That was just an unfortunate play and lack of awareness from Heyward.
Canada still needs to go. Winning doesn’t cure all, this win is merely a bandaid on a leaking dam. The lack of production and points in the first half is pathetic.
Watt and Highsmith might be the best edge rushers in the league.
The inside linebackers all played admirably.
JPJ needs to be a starter.
Special teams were pretty good today (with the exception of the fumble)

The truth of the matter is that him being back there today, returning kicks, and having a huge turnover(once again), is a microcosm of Tomlin……..the guy should have been cut for fielding a kick that was going out of bounds for having no ******* awareness….not only was he not cut, but Tomlin inserted him into his role the first time he was available since his injury. Similar to that idiot safety running to the panthers huddle last year, taking a huge penalty, and Tomlin not doing anything about it. There is ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY with this guy, and Gunner ******* O needs booted from this team STAT.

He was there because Austin was in concussion protocol so he had to go with Gunner. Even when Austin was cleared, I think they were keeping him out of the PR duties for good reason. King-who is the other returner disappeared altogether-maybe an undisclosed injury.

Action Jackson isn't a pure passer and never will be. They did well to improve his accuracy but when he feels pressure that goes out the window.

To his credit his receivers dropped a ridiculous amount of passes today. Easy passes. That really saves the Steelers bacon from being down in a huge hole.

That said, Pickens made 3 catches today on those "50/50" lobs.

Even the commentators remarked on how those are such "low percentage throws" and thus the Steelers offense cannot rely on that.
