Initial Thoughts on raven Game

I liked it when Muth came over to look out for Bos when the rats were ******* with him. not on the same level as Lambert but still pretty cool they weren't gonna let them **** with the Bos.

Tough fought first half

Queens penaty of the sack by Loudernilk gave the rats a break and the capitalized.

OL is getting roughed up on runs and passing game.

two first half turnovers of the rats sid of the field really should have ended in more than fieldgoals

Boz is AWESOME

not passing over the middle or using your big *** TEs in the redzone ******* sucks

it would be nice if Pickens could get a DPI call

**** the refs

Boz is still ******* awesome

going out on a limb to say Boz gets a game ball from Chico

defense played one hell of a game

Queen and Wilson both had big turnovers

they contained Jackson......again

should have been throwingover the middle to the TE all day

washington can not just stand there and watch the ball fly over his head in the endzone

Fields almost killed it by slidding early

Najee picks u p the big first down

Love Victory Formation

my heart is going about 300bpm

Damn these games are FUN (when the Steelers pull them out)
Only one win or tie away from........🤪

It's a typical rat grinder win.

Jones pisses me off.

Washington your big *** needs to jump up for the ball in the endzone, or at least smash the other guy so he can't catch it.
Time is here to probably take him out of certain packages during specific situations.

I thought the Defense played the most disciplined team Defensive game I have seen in years. They played containment. They created TO’s. You’re not going to get a SO against the Ravens. They have put up a lot of points this season. Great game D. And kudos to the coaches for the game planning on D.

Special Teams…..The Boz is in a league of his own.

I thought the opposite with the offense. I thought the play calling was horrible. Why not use our TE’s more in the middle! When we do it’s successful. I just don’t get it. Why not have some quick hitting slants to Calvin? Why did we not have Mike Williams spread out wide. I’m not sure what he can do yet. But I know what Van Jefferson can do. That drop for a first was humongous.
Austin is not the answer outside unless we are doing 5 Wide.
I thought Russ was average at best. Yes he had a couple nice throws. That int was absolutely ridiculous for a smart vet.
If it wasn’t for the TO’s created by the D and the incredible game the Refs had with the calls going our way we might not have gotten half those points. George played well and is really coming in to his own. Our run game was steady,

I was definitely proud of the D. They set up Boz’s FG’s. And I eat humble pie for thinking the Ravens would score 30 points on them in my pregame prediction. Thank god for the Boz!
Wilson doesn't like the slants.

Remember that Williams only caught the game winner last week because Austin got hurt a play earlier. If not for that, Steelers probably lose as Austin misplays that moon ball and it falls incomplete.

We keep hearing how about the moving train for Roman Wilson and now apparently for Mike Williams. But Skowronek is new and can play all the snaps he wants.

The Steelers prioritize blocking for their WRs instead of you know, being able to get open and catch passes. I's bet if Arthur Smith was honest, he'd have Pickens on the bench too and start Skowronek and Jefferson outside with 2 TE sets as the base formation. I bet he'd bench Freiermuth too for Pruitt or an extra OT.

Happy they won but this is not going to win s SUper Bowl Yes, the steelers do need to start thinking that way now. They must develop a real passing game if they're serious.

What calls going our way? They completely ignored both the obvious DPI on Pickens in the end zone and the push off by Flowers that allowed the late TD. The push off knocked Donte Jackson back five yards into the end zone. Brutal misses. Plus there is so much holding no calls on TJ and Cam even when they are double teamed that it's practically blatant.

A classic Steelers-Ravens game. There was some physical play and a lot of chipiness on the field. I loved it. The crowd was electric throughout as well.

Patrick Queen stepped up against his old team, love to see it. The defense as a whole was outstanding.

Watt's hit on Henry had to be one of the hardest times he's ever been hit. Not often you see Henry get knocked down and back.

Props to Justin Fields being ready to step in and make some really big plays when we needed them. A bit of creativity from the coaching staff to make those calls as well.

Not the cleanest game on offense. This game should've been at least a 10-14 point win.

Justin Tucker...lol

Obviously what i meant by that is many games we don’t get blatant calls that are committed against us. The multiple holds against Watt etc. Many times the flags have stayed in the pockets. This game we did get a few more than usual it seemed. It was nice to see them called and at very important times. I’ve never been one to blame the refs for lost or won games. If you want to disagree, and make a big deal about that….go for it.

Nice to see our ILbers making plays. That red zone needs to be cleaned up. This team is resilient and the D keeps them in games. I think Fields is a nice red zone package capable.

Hey Vegas up your nose with a rubber hose!

Plus, we need more playaction shots on first down, not second. And why does Russ like 20 yard passes on 3rd and 1?

I yelled that out do your deep shots on anything but 3rd and 1. Keep the chains moving.

I tell you I know after this game some might not be quick to say it but I think Smith keeps this offense capable. Just not sure they are stacked on steady receiving contributors. Perhaps some more of those early play actions as you mentioned would open things up a little more.

if the 20 yard pass is to Pickens, I'm fine with it

otherwise the wr better be wide ******* open
True if you have to throw it long do it to Pickens. Unless someone is wide open.

He does. No doubt. I really like what Arthur Smith is doing. I am just perplexed at the fact that inside the 20, on 1st down, he runs every time. Not most of the time. Every time. Defenses have to know that too. It's a blind spot for him right now.

And for heavens sake, more zone runs! That up the middle all the time is so ******* predictable. That playaction works better off zone runs.
