Just want to point out that I was really wrong about Van Jefferson... the guy is a roleplayer... he has speed but doesnt use it great.. he is in there to block and run the right routes and that is it... may as well be a TE
What did he do now?Hes on a coolie vacation
Yeah I thought his absence was due the current win stretchWhat did he do now?
Is he suppose to be our WR2? It's been several years since he's produced at that level. I still think he's in that WR3-5 mix of guys who the Steelers hope can catch fire any given week to be a second option behind Pickens. They don't have a true WR2 on the roster and this move didn't change that. However, I do agree they should work him some targets, even if it's some safe throws or a deep shot. Try something.I know others have mentioned and I know I did during the game a few times but where was Mike Williams? I saw him get a few snaps in the 2nd half but nothing else. Why? He is supposed to be our WR2 and we need him to be. Most other WR's that have been traded get a few snaps their 1st game and the much more in their 2nd with a new team and then almost full reps in the 3rd game. Is Tomlin living in his fears on this one? Get him in the games and throw it to him. He must have learned a bunch of the plays already.
Who is this Jackson fella? He’s been quite all year, hasn’t got a catch on offense yet. Luckily he’s had a few catches on defense, where we don’t want him allowing separation…Action Jackson
Now that Jefferson guy (to the theme of the Jeffersons sitcom)
He needs to be “moving on down”
the depth chart
Would rather Williams or Skowronek at this point and park that Van down by the river.
All we are saying is
Give Williams a chance
That peyote is kickin in bro
yeah beating the Ravens sucksI'm a little concerned that the offense seems to not be able to exploit glaring weaknesses of opposing teams. They couldn't run on the cowboys who were towards the bottom of the league in run defense...that includes being minus Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence. Every team before and after have seemed to whatever against Dallas, but not the Steelers.
They couldn't exploit a 31st ranked pass defense in the Ravens. Sure the Ravens grabbed Tre Davious White to help just before the trade deadline ,but that doesnt make them go from #31 to #1 overnight. You cant say its the AFC North/Rivalry. You had the Bengals put up 34 and 38 against them, and the Browns put up like 29. It's disconcerting to say the least.
It would be nice to see a Mike Williams sighting next game and a lot less Van Jefferson. This is definitely a need within the first two rounds in next year's draft.
Losing to the Cowboys is even suckier.yeah beating the Ravens sucks
Ok, if I have to choose one, rather lose to the non division cowgirls.I'm a little concerned that the offense seems to not be able to exploit glaring weaknesses of opposing teams. I thought he may have some potential too based off his one decent year and the hopeJust want to point out that I was really wrong about Van Jefferson... the guy is a roleplayer... he has speed but doesnt use it great.. he is in there to block and run the right routes and that is it... may as well be a TE
The Bengals have 3 legit #1 WRs on their roster and 2 very good TEs. Add a QB that has longstanding chemistry with his true #1 WR = big passing games. Dead ***, you're too old to be using that phrase. And that's no kap...
Ok Berm. Noted. Kidd gloves have been taken off.Noted and I did rewatch and reread your post. It was directed at you specifically...
You're a great guy - don't take it personal my maple syrup brother!!!Ok Berm. Noted. Kidd gloves have been taken off.

you mean capisci?I pointed out a distinct fact that took place in both games. I could care less how many games ago it was..doesn't mean it was fixed... or that it will be or can be. I just pointed out it's disconcerting. Capeche??
Ok fair enough...what happened with the run gameThe Bengals have 3 legit #1 WRs on their roster and 2 very good TEs. Add a QB that has longstanding chemistry with his true #1 WR = big passing games. We don't have that...

How about Capeesh??you mean capisci?
Ok...fair enough even though it doesn't explain why every other team was able to do the same that have about the same amount of chemistry and talent as the Steelers (i.e. Browns did it with Jameis and WRs less known) What about the run game against the Cowboys? The Bengals have 3 legit #1 WRs on their roster and 2 very good TEs.
