Iran

Who would profit? Who would want to stop the fall of oil prices?

that's right, the Saudis, there is nothing in it for Iran

Iran is suspected to hit two more oil tankers today.

While I'm not for a ground war or a regime change type of war, I am perfectly fine for a demolition type of war where we destroy their nuclear facilities ( With ground forces is needed ) and any armed forces that try to stop us if they attack more ships. Say a 1-month war with clear objectives what to hit, and when to pull out.

To make up for the oil losses the USA can agree to export oil to Iranian buyers around the globe if needed at the same price.

MOAB the **** out of Tehran. They’ll roll over.

And be sure to give them facebook and order i Phones for free and weapons to the brave people who want to over throw the radicals.

The one looked like it was right at the waterline. If so, good shot.

Damn one of those flying explosive Seagulls.

Speaking at a news conference in Tokyo, Yutaka Katada, president of Kokuka Sangyo Co, said he believes the flying objects seen by the sailors could be bullets,

“Bullets!” They seen bullets. God damn, they got some good eyesight

China and Russia Stand up for Iran After Gulf Tanker Attacks

Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed solidarity with Iran on Friday, even as the U.S. Navy revealed evidence the Iranians were behind the terrorist attack on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman.

“The pressures that the US government imposes on Iran and China and other countries are aimed at dominating the whole of Asia and the world,” Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said after meeting with Xi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Kyrgyzstan.

Pompeo vows US will guarantee passage through Strait of Hormuz

Washington (AFP) - Secretary of State Mike Pompeo vowed Sunday that the US will guarantee free passage through the vital Strait of Hormuz, as he accused Iran of recent attacks on oil tankers and the downing of a US drone.

Pompeo confirmed in an interview with CBS that a US MQ-9 "Reaper" drone was shot down June 6 with a missile fired from Yemen "that we assess had Iranian assistance."

Is the US going to attack Iran soon?

Diplomatic sources at the UN headquarters in New York revealed to Maariv that they are assessing the United States' plans to carry out a tactical assault on Iran in response to the tanker attack in the Persian Gulf on Thursday.

According to the officials, since Friday, the White House has been holding incessant discussions involving senior military commanders, Pentagon representatives and advisers to President Donald Trump.

The military action under consideration would be an aerial bombardment of an Iranian facility linked to its nuclear program, the officials further claimed.

"The bombing will be massive but will be limited to a specific target," said a Western diplomat.

(1) What has the administration done so far to Iran regarding these incidents? Yep, nothing.

(2) A "tactical assault," i.e., missiles, is equivalent to "invading" Iran? You may wish to brush up on warfare history, Tibs.

Trump seems to be using leverage while avoiding actual armed conflict. Iran hitting oil tankers is a problem, more so for the Saudis than anybody else. Know why, Tibs? BECAUSE THE UNITED STATES IS NOW ENERGY INDEPENDENT AND AN ENERGY EXPORTER UNDER THIS PRESIDENT.

Unlike Trump's flaccid, wimpy, drone-addicted predecessor.

I think we need to draw a red line in the sand.

See, crisis averted.

Oh no, not that! Anything but that! Assad sure was quaking in his boots when the limp-wristed Kenyan threw that one down.

Don't be surprised if we see a "very minor"retaliation.

Trump calls alleged Iranian tanker attacks 'very minor'

Word must have come from Putin, Trump's foreign policy advisor, to back the **** off. Ever the loyal servant, Trump was happy to oblige.

And if he said it was a big deal and action must be taken he'd be a war monger. There is no winning with you people and you know it. It's all a silly game of politics and fake outrage.
