Police shot more than 2,000 people in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, St. Louis and Philadelphia so far this year, and murdered more than 500 in those cities - all (D)im controlled? Huh, had not heard that.

Shooting, homicide rates soar from coast to coast. In Philadelphia over the past weekend, seven people were shot in a span of three hours, according to CNN affiliate KYW-TV. One person was killed and two others critically wounded. Shooting incidents in Philadelphia are up 57% from last year, the station reported, citing police records. Homicides, at 201 as of Monday, were up 24%.

In Milwaukee, homicides have jumped 95% -- to 82 -- so far this year, according to police. In the first week of June alone, the Los Angeles Police Department reported that homicides increased 250% compared to the previous week. New York City has seen a 44% spike in shootings this year to 511, from 355 during the same period in 2019, according to the NYPD. There have been 176 murders, which is 23% higher than last year.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers had finally accepted his offer to send federal forces to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to stop violent riots.

“TODAY, I will be sending federal law enforcement and the National Guard to Kenosha, WI to restore LAW and ORDER!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Trump said his White House team spoke with Evers on Wednesday.

“We will NOT stand for looting, arson, violence, and lawlessness on American streets,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “My team just got off the phone with Governor Evers who agreed to accept federal assistance.”

Trump just won Wisconsin. Again.
