Aint happening. Why would they do that.
No, I don't think so either. His agent wouldn't have said that stuff.

I was hoping there might be a pre-arranged agreement.
Harrison may still have pass rushing moves but he's lost his speed and can't cover anymore, and offenses would just take advantage of that. And if he goes to NE and we play them Ben and Bell would have a field day knowing he can't cover when he's on the field. Sad to see him go but it was the correct roster move.
After the bears game where we were gashed, Harrison said he could set the edge when he is 60. Tomlin responded in his pressed not to his comment but rather it wasn't the lb play. Cross Tomlin you're out. Everyone knows our spotty lb play is the issue with the run d. Harrison absolutely could have helped. Play him in rushing situations or blitz.
All the "It's just business" is BULLSHIT. There is no reason you don't cut someone else and let him ride out the season, and let him "Retire".

and the rumors begin... he's going to end up NE, book it.
Harrison isnt able to cover anyone. The Steelers are dropping Watt and Dupree isn't coverage so much that they can't play Harrison.
Personally I believe he shouldn't of been running his mouth to the media about his playing time when we're 11-3.
While I agree I'd rather have cut McCullers, but Harrison being gone isn't exactly a loss. Who knows, maybe he comes back before it's over.
Oh and this sucks. I'm having Harris and Woodson flashbacks. What a disrespectful move for such an instrumental force on the team. That's it for me, if this bears out to be on him he's dead to me. It could be a long *** wait for his replacement. I don't know if I still have it in me.
