The Philly loss was a good omen!
In 1979 our beloved Steelers lost to Philly, in Philly, then went on to win the Super Bowl!!!

We will all be looking back at this thread Sunday Feb, 9 2025!

I like your confidence Stewey. Things are really never as bad as they appear after a loss. Yes they played like **** but that is a really good Eagles team and very well coached and prepared so we shouldn’t take it too hard.
We need to get some of the injured players back and win at least two of the next three.
I will say this though that Omar really ****** up this receiver corp this year. Man this has to be our worst WR room in many a season. One star in Pickens a bunch of number fours and ps guys. Holy crap they are bad.

22 lose in Philly no playoffs
16 lose in Philly 2-1 in playoffs
08 lose in Philly 3-0 (SB!!!)
97 lose in Philly 1-1 in playoffs
91 lose in Philly no playoffs

So when we lose in Philly and make playoffs we’re 6-2 in playoffs and Tomlin’s only SB win came after a loss in Philly. At least all of those years with a loss in Philly resulted in a minimum of 1 playoff win.

So now I fully expect a minimum of 1 playoff win, thanks for that ray of sunshine!!!!

But Tomlin’s only previous road to SB victory was a loss in Philly year so maybe he’s just retracing his steps???

Maybe 7 is the lucky number,but 8 would make a better circle of trophies.
