Well they are shooting. To damn bad it can't even make it to the net.
 
I think Dan went to the Tomlin school of coaching. Just let the talent do their stuff and we should win. Well, that's just not working because our most talented players are our most under performing players at this point. If we're gonna lose this series, I hope we lose the rest of the games and Mario is forced to do something drastic.
 
They look like the game plan is "let's see if we can do something." The puck does not stay in the BJ's end for long. But they are pushing our net constantly. It's lame. I also am not seeing much checking into the boards.
 
the only way we are going to get goals is to get in front of Brobovsky and deflect some.

That goal was huge. Big time uplift to the team going into the last period. Well have been putting it in the net but just haven't had the love. Great goaltending by Brov. Let's go boys.

Totally outworked and out played. Time to clean house and find some players who care about playing. Unreal how sloppy an real NHL team can be.
 
This doesn't seem like the players to me. There is not a culture of fight. The hitting, the passing, the set ups, the rebounding, etc. It's just lame.
 
Damn, I guess they got the message to shoot the puck. 4-3 Pens. CJ is just falling apart. Their goalie is shell shocked right now.

Nice comeback....but damn, this team makes things so freaking hard. And I'd tell Letang to get on with his life's work.
 
Yeah, that stroke must've really ****** him up. I had to laugh when the ******** announcer said "It's like Letang's hands don't work". Well no ****, he just stroked out. It's like he's 90 now.
 
Did out two headed monster get any points tonight? Seems like it was a defensive offensive game.
 
Fluery with an .850 save %.....would be nice to finally have a playoff goalie who could win you a game once in a while. This team isn't going anywhere until he, Letang and I'll throw in Malkin are gone.
 
Dubs gave up 4 goals and got the 2nd star. Pens would've racked up 8 on most people tonight.

Those three have won a cup together. I think the game plan needs to change. Dan and his purple ******* ear need a ball check.
 
Malkin seemed to wake up late in the game.

They won a cup but Fluery he has been meltdown in the playoffs since. Bylsma is on radar too....playoff and olympic scoring collapses are his trademark in the big games. Columbus should be the easy round and here we are.
 
Fleury held it together - really don't care about style points, as long as we win, I don't care how they do it.

i was on an airplane. glad we found some scoring magic. That Orpic goal is ******* sick.
 
Don't kid yourself if you think this team is going places. We're lucky to have drawn CBJ in the first round. With the exception of maybe Tampa Bay, all remaining teams would be killing us right now. This is just like last year except I don't see us making it to the Conference finals round.
