The Florida Senate passed Gov. Ron DeSantis' congressional map, that will see the creation of four new GOP-leaning districts, and remove Disney's self-governing power and special exempt status. This would also remove three districts held by Democrats.

After Taylor Lorenz doxed Libs of Tik Tok in the pages of the Washington Post, that paper released a statement defending the doxing, and defending Lorenz's journalistic standards.
They also lied, claiming that Lorenz had not published the home address of the Libs of Tik Tok account holder, when in fact, she had. The article was later scrubbed to purge those details, but they were there when the article was published at 6 am on Tuesday.
They wrote that Lorenz, who cried on MSNBC after getting mean tweets and then blasted MSNBC for interviewing her at all since it led to even more mean tweets, "is an accomplished journalist."
Senior Managing Editor Cameron Barr said that Lorenz's practice of using Antifa-affiliated accounts to gain information, and showing up at the homes of Libs of Tik Tok's family members, were "reporting methods" that "comport entirely with The Washington Post's professional standards."

Aliquippa made news out here on the radio morning show. I missed the beginning so I looked it up..WTF.
I don't know how I feel about that. It's been several eons since I was in school but I seem to remember not being allowed to bring certain things to eat to school but I'll be damned if I can think of what they were. I was always a 'buyer' not a 'bringer' so it isn't something that effected me. I do feel sorry for these kids today. The lunches don't sound all that appealing.

Aliquippa has been an impoverished shithole for a long time and their school district is one of the worst in the state. They should worry more about the quality of education they give their kids but since Aliquippa is largely black, that would be racist. I live about 8 miles away.
