You want to talk about Mike Tomlin and his
lone ranger decision to start Russell Wilson? Well, let me tell you, this is the kind of thing that really grinds my gears! Here’s a guy who struts around like he’s just discovered fire because he decided to go with Wilson. Oh, great! Bravo, Mike! You’re a real trailblazer!
Bragging about this decision like he’s the first coach in history to start a healthy starting Quarterback over the backup is just plain silly. It's as if every coach in the league isn’t faced with these choices every single week! What are we supposed to do, throw him a parade? Dust off your lawn chairs Yinzers and save your space on Grant Street!
It’s like he’s trying to make this monumental moment out of something that should be routine. “Look at me! I finally made a tough call” Give me a break!
Back in my day, Coaches made tough calls and didn't care if others agreed with him or made him unpopular. And we liked it!! We loved it!!
This is the NFL, not some high school drama club! Coaches are supposed to make these calls without turning it into a Broadway production. And yet, here we are, listening to Tomlin pat himself on the back for doing what any half-decent coach would do.
