In reality it is Tomlin's Team. He will approve of all choices made by his subordinates. They will all have input on the organization. It may go in a chain of command style or it may happen in a town hall meeting style the participants know for sure. The ownership will also have some input as well. Ultimately the choices are the fault of Tomlin even if he merely signs off on them. Adams stabbing may have had more effect than a lot of us thought it would. I believe at the time TMC called it and said he would not be very good that season as he would take too long to recover and get back to form and strength. Should Adams move into the starting line up it would give us a very capable back up at the position for who ever he replaces. I think this year we see some training camp battles for the O line spots and maybe we up grade a few spots.

How about you go **** yourself? Why is it you and your click can put him in at LT but I can't say a ******* word about it? Why don't you let the coaches work it out *******? If you don't want to talk about it on a STEELERS board how about not opening the thread or opening your ******* pie hole? That'd keep you from having the horror of looking at opinions you don't like.

Why does every ****** thread here have to deteriorate into this. Tomlin is a good head coach. Period. None of you know how he runs his team on a daily basis either so STFU. Why can't we address the topic at hand? I like Beachum and I think he is the exact type of player Munchak tends to enjoy coaching. I think there is a very strong possibility that he keeps that LT spot for good.

So you think a ******* position coach decides who starts? Also if nobody knows anything about how things are run then how in the hell do you know that Munchak likes to coach players like Beachum? WTF does that mean anyway? So please STFU until you know what you are talking about.
Do you honestly think that the position coach has no say in who starts? What about the coordinator? Or, do you believe that who starts is the sole discretion of the HC and he receives no input from the coaches and coordinators? Just honestly asking for your thoughts on this. How do YOU imagine the decision as to who starts is made?

From Munchak's own mouth, it sounds like he's a guy he's enjoying coaching and has a high level of respect/expectations for.

I'm talking about the types of lineman that Munchak and the Oilers/Titans usually drafted and developed. I happen to enjoy football and am a research junkie so I actually am pretty familiar with Munchak as much as I can be as a fan. I've never personally seen the guy coach but I've seen his players play. There is a difference. I'm not talking about who made the ****** call to start a guy or not start a guy or who's fault it was that a guy started for X amount of weeks or who's dick is swinging lower or any of that. The sad part is it just turns into a round about way to **** on Mike Tomlin. If you don't like Tomlin just ****** say it and let it be. There doesn't need to be all this CSI Pittsburgh proof. Some of you guys turn into a bunch of repressed angry ******** QUICKLY when you talk about any damn thing here. Chill the **** out. This is why people have to take a break from this **** and not come back for a while. We just want to talk some football man not battle with people's anger management problems and **** slinging.

I've tried to talk football but can't because of the circle jerk squad that roams here. So I have to talk football in the few threads that actually even mention it. My like or dislike of Tomlin has nothing to do with this thread. Even saying that a HC has any responsibility at all on here is tad amount to saying "I've joined the local KKK". Hell some here claim that Cowher lost his heart and gave up during the 06 season. Something I'd never say about Tomlin. But that's the way it is here now. People, including myself, blasted Cowher for starting Kordell Stewart. If I had brought up that the QB coach started him I'd been banned for saying something so stupid. But today it is common place. It's ******* ridiculous to suggest that a position coach decides who starts. But alas anything to keep responsibility away from the HC.
If cower said it,, would he have said it with his own "mouf" as you so eloquently attributed that to Tomlin? KKK nah,, but your bias is evident.
