National Debt to Increase by 7 Trillion in Trump's First Term

Just wondering what the orange man bad types think the deficit will do when the Demoturds give us everything for free?

There are no deficits or homeless people when a Democrat is President.

Enjoy your **** sandwich!

The cure is worse than the virus. Clearly...you've not been able to see your physician and are off the meds, as evidenced by your recent posts.

National debt was 19.9 Trillion in January 2017, and will be over 27 trillion in January 2021. Trump has ignited credit card nation on steroids. Quite the conservative.
No wonder everyone loved the economy, our prosperity was mortgaged with our children and grandchildren's future. Since Reagan, 26 trillion of debt has been accumulated
because a generation of American adults didn't want to pay for government spending occurring during their lifetimes and instead is passing the bill to children who can't even
vote. Constitution needs fixed if it allows one generation to prosper at the expense of future generations. Probably the most shameful act in all American history.

The Dems want to spend double what Trump does on the next aid package. And want "free" healthcare, "free" child care, "free" college and loan forgiveness, including for illegal immigrants who will pour over our borders in numbers never seen on this planet if that happens. So yeah I hate how much we have spent and I hate the debt but your solution is....drum roll please...elect people who want to spend exponentially more.

It's GENIUS I tell you...

So Clinton, the DEMOCRAT, DOES deserve credit for his three consecutive SURPLUSES!

There was never a surplus under Clinton. That was all creative accounting of the type that sent ENRONs top executives to federal prison.

Pretty sure none of our elected officials care, other than to use the debt to bludgeon the other side. Lord knows no one in DC has a solution.

A couple of Republican legislators have tried, it never gets them anywhere. Paul Ryan wanted to look how it ended up for him. Once entitlements are in place they are never reigned in, only expanded.

Flog is using the political "budget deficit" illusion to hide the fact that since 1990, at least, the federal debt has grown each and every year. The actual numbers:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/187867/public-debt-of-the-united-states-since-1990/

Flog, translated for you, this means Slick Willie and the Dems cannot say they ever had a surplus, because it would have lowered the public debt during that year. The data doesn't lie.

And, for the umpteenth time, the President doesn't control spending, the House does. If you disagree, how about showing some of Bomma's budgets?

I'm a little surprised the Elfpigtard hasn't found another way or another device to get back on here leading up to the election. Maybe even that ******* idiot knows Biden has no chance of winning.

Wow. Compelling. Moving. Powerful.

And all the more reason NEVER, ******* EVER, vote for the crazy ************* who promise to use tax dollars to pay for college, and medical care, and housing, and food, and illegals, and lawyers for illegals and school for illegals and medical care for illegals and lions and tigers and bears, oh my!!

Since (D)ims are now concerned about the budget deficit and crushing debt, how the ******* **** can they justify their MASSIVE, ASTOUNDING promises to spend much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much more?

Still waiting for 21 to answer. Now you are also on the clock, Flog. Loosen the manbun and answer my question.

It's classic projection by liberals.

They only get concerned about national debt when a R or in this case Trump is in office. Meanwhile, they would Cloward-Piven the financial system with endless goodies and green energy subsidies if their guy/woman/It was in the office.

Similar to when a liberal quotes their "life verse" "judge not lest ye be judged" when it's the only verse they've ever heard or memorized.

If they're going to suddenly hold up fiscal responsibility or the Bible as the standard of righteousness, they should be held to it.

2016 Federal Deficit: $585 Billion
2019 Federal Deficit: $984 Biliion

And it gets worse, much worse. Like FUBAR, WTF?-level worse. Fiscal conservatives should hang their head in shame for getting behind this clownshow four years ago.

No wonder there's an increasing number of Republicans and conservatives finally coming to their senses and backing Biden this time around. Too little, too late. It likely won't be enough, as the electoral college lines up well for Trump. So he'll have four more years of selling the country down the river. We can all lean back and watch it burn. Get your marshmellows ready.

While this really pisses me off, any attempts to put it all on Trump is just lying. The dems are just as guilty, and want more spending. I hate it, and won't excuse it, but it's not a one party problem. It's actually a voter problem.

No, you stupid ****, HE DOESN'T. Spending is the sole purview OF THE LEGISLATIVE, NOT THE EXECUTIVE, BRANCH.

What happened in 1994 that led to the spending being reigned in and the longest period of economic growth up to that point? Newt and the contract with America, leading to Republican control of the House and Senate, the spending branches.

Dumbshit.

And for the third time - explain how shutting down billions upon billions of dollars in tax revenues via gasoline, natural gas, etc. and spending trillions of dollars on free **** for everybody here, illegals included, and trillions for college, medical care, and on and on, IS GOING TO IMPROVE THE ******* SPENDING SITUATION.

God ******* damn, Dems are so contemptibly, willfully ignorant at this point that they apparently believe that reducing tax revenues by hundreds of billions and increasing spending by trillions will REDUCE THE ******* DEFICIT.

I don't know how to break this to you, but the 2016 budget that puts lead in your pencil was via a REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED HOUSE AND SENATE and the trillions of deficit spending that for some reason now cause you such concern is UNDER (D)IM CONTROL OF THE HOUSE, WHERE ALL BILLS, INCLUDING SPENDING BILLS, ORIGINATE.

I think we should make passing a civics exam a prerequisite to voting. News alert: You would need to study.

Where are the billions $$ that Obama gave to Iranian terrorists accounted for in the budget?

LOL, this board is through-the-roof hilarious. Everything is the Dems fault, except of course when we spent months on end jerking off to how great the economy was, that of course was all Trumps's doing.

Let me guess. This too is all the Dems fault. Maybe Obama's, or Clinton's, or Jimmy Carter's? Or maybe Bernie Sanders or AOC is to blame? It has absolutely nothing to do with Trump or his policies. I'm beginning to see a trend here....

I cannot think of a single reason for the trade numbers being in the toilet and the United States economy being in the ******* as well, except for Trump.

No other explanation. None. Not a single one. Zero. Bupkus. Zippo, nada, nicht.

Nobody is saying that. Apparently you are still not understanding what has been explained to you several times in this thread.

The 7 trillion includes the 2 trillion of stimulus already spent, but does not include any new stimulus that is coming, so the real number will be higher than 7 trillion.
For the entire debt I blame both Republicans and Democrats and the required solution is a Constitutional Balanced Budget amendment. The amendment would need
to have some flexibility for national emergencies, but it should have yearly parameters that keeps debt in-line. Spending and taxes are suppose to be a check and balance
system, whereby if the government spends the taxpayers have to pay. When taxpayers feel the pain of taxes, they vote to curtail the spenders. That check and balance
is broken, because politicians are looking out for their own reelection and not making taxpayers feel the pain of the spending.

I tend to be socially liberal, but extremely fiscally conservative. I believe if your going to pass a tax cut, you have to cut the spending to pay for it first.

I think a lot of people in America don’t understand just how little a president is responsible for, good or bad.
