Are they more determined and hungry or are they better? I just think they're better than the opposition.
 
I think Vegas is done. Elvis will leave that building for good if they don't secure a W in the next game. They really need to take the next 2 games.

Their mental make up changed after beating the Pens. The caps have always had a solid core group of players, this is finally their push.

Pens bias possibly, I don't think they were better than us. Maybe as far as will and determination sure.
But it took it depleted and banged up Pens roster for the caps to advance. Sid and Guentzel damn near took that team over.

I'll give them credit for rallying around each other, as I think they know their core group will not be around longer.
I'm still rooting for VGK and this series is far from over.


Both teams are deserving of their spot. So here's to keeping them #allcapsnocups

Have to go with determined. Ovie looks serious for once.
The caps have looked suspect at times, teams have exploited them, but Holtby has been on a new level.
 
Do or die for Vegas tonight

. I see they are moving or benching Perron for Tatar. I didn't know Tatar was the Knight's highest paid player ? He is quicker than Perron and can finish plays better. That's all wonderful because the comments in Vegas was he was always in the wrong position to finish. He hasn't played since 5/16, so maybe fresh legs and a chip on his shoulder will help out.

This series over in five. Vegas benefitted from playing in the ****** Western conference. Caps are faster, more skilled, just flat out better. As far as Vegas, when your 4th line is your best line, you are ******. Vegas is getting no zone time, no sustained pressure and they are turning over pucks left and right. They are getting owned.

Well it might not be over but the fat lady sure is getting warmed up.

Caps are just playing like a team that wont be denied.
 
Wow these guys are folding like a deck of cards. Whatever magic they had going is gone. Just flat out spanked and it's not even close. It's hard to say that given how much I dislike the craps. They're winning the cup and that's that.
 
I'm loving this. I can't take much more of this **** around here in Vegas. People needed a wake up call. The Caps have been at this for too ****** long to go out against an expansion team......even a historic expansion team but they want this **** and they deserve it.

Currently rooting for a shutout buster. That's all I have to hang onto.

Well that sucked 4-2...then poof 5-2 The flying Elvises are a hunk a hunk a burning team.
 
This is the difference in this Caps team. They give up 2 quick goals and Vegas gets the momentum going. Instead of folding like previous years the Caps promptly score 2 more goals to put the game way out of reach
 
Craps are pure class..6-2....not. Well Vegas maybe you can skip all of that pregame bullshit and win one....which at this point looks highly doubtful.

Oh and definitely a lot of missed opportunities.
Vegas had a decent first 5-7 minutes. After they gave up that 1st goal, that was it.
