Options at QB1 (including rumors of offer to Darnold)

Given where they are right now, I honestly wouldn't mind Jameis Winston.

He's actually a really talented passed, but is good for a few "wtf" plays every game, which has been what has held him back in the league.

I've always wondered what he could do in a play-action based offense that ran the ball well enough and played good enough defense to limit his pass attempts and not force him to throw the ball 30+ times a game.

I'm not sure he's ever been in that situation since he's been in the league.
Hey bring them all in, might as well. Bridgewater ?

I don’t pee in anybody’s pot !!!!

And just for the record…………………….

I don’t pee in any of Fiji Mariner’s Peyote deliveries either.!!!

I know most have accepted the fate and distaste of this whole fiscal of a QB search. The problem I have is the continuation of being manipulated and embarrassed by said QB search.

Obviously someone had forgotten to cut their eye lids off as they didn’t see we needed a QB, prior to FAgency.

And for enough to be worth a Comp pick.

I thought there was some rule with the comp equation that players with a certain amount of accrued years didn’t factor for getting a comp pick, seemed like we ran into that with Faneca if memory serves…

Oh wait, I remember…the Rats get a 5th and a 6th for this move

The Packers, Jets, Vikings, and Giants moved on from Rodgers yet Tomlin's man-crush won't allow him to move on. I hope Rodgers retires so this totally blows up in Tomlin's face. This is beyond embarrassing. Just ride the season with Rudolph. Do not wait another 3 weeks (per rumors) for Rodgers to make a decision. Make it for him today and move on.

I want to see the fireworks on the sideline when Shades or Arthur tell him not to call audibles or throw over the middle.
I demand entertainment.
Never a losing season, greatest coach everrrrr…..

When your veteran leader says **** or get off the pot. Maybe move on. Thanks but no Thanks A-Aron.
Don't know if Cam is a leader. A loud mouth yeah. Leader....nah.

Tomlin grabs A-Arod’s helmet and throws it into the stands, telling him his day is done…………

But there’s more…………

Tomlin’s day in court has just begun because the parents of the 7 yr. Old who got hit in the head and is unconscious in the Hospital……… are suing the coach / Steelers for the incident. It is public blast news cycle that just doesn’t quit.

Go with Mason, do NOT draft Dart, tank the season and get an actual blue chip prospect next year. With a new coach as well.
this is the golden ticket. unfortunately, we do not do that anymore.

Yep, at one time football was a way of life, even in those down years last century there always was an element of hope.

Now it's just pure entertainment. Should they sign Rodgers, and I hope they don't, I will take some joy watching CoolShades losing his cool when his play calling is ignored.

I lowered my expectations a while ago. Apparently 10-7 and a wildcard playoff beat down is the owner’s definition of success, so I don’t expect more than that.

Im pretty sure if you asked the lockeroom they wouod say Cam is the alpha dog leader of this team. If he is not HOF he is pretty damn close.
Meh....in his prime he did zero leadering. AB and all the others transformed the Team first culture into the me first culture and Cam just stood around and watched it happen. Now he yells every now and then and people want to call him a leader. Nah. I will pass on that title for him.

Not to mention some of the takes he has. When Najee was preaching better preparation for games we came out flat and stunk up the joint, Heyward would disagree and say it was on the players to execute. What he said about Rodgers will absolutely have to be addressed if Rodgers does indeed sign with us, it's one thing to say you'd like to know who the QB is going to be, it's another to attack a potential teammates way of thinking and life. I would agree with you, I wouldn't say he's a leader. Certainly hasn't made a difference in the locker room...

Also late in the season when they had some missed assignments in the secondary he was calling out the player. He didn't name drop them but still talked to the media about it. I would think a leader of the locker room would just give a generic answer when asked and talk to the player individually.

It sure looks like if Rodgers is going to play this year then his only option is the Steelers. Everybody else has signed a QB to real money.

Should help drive down his price.

Heard SF was kicking the tires on the ole rust bucket.

Okay, Hear me out.

The NFL wants their Super Bowl to have huge story lines to generate compelling interest in the big game, right? Right!!

San Fran trades Brock Purdy to the Steelers for draft picks and signs Aaron Rogers, Drafts a QB in the draft.

The Steelers would then have the 49'ers young buck QB who would then be going back to San Fran where the Super Bowl is played this upcoming season.

"Brock Purdy is back where he started, leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to another possible championship!"

Juicy!! But wait.

The 49'ers are the opposing team and the first team to have home field advantage in Super Bowl history.

Saucy!! Oh, why not one more...

"Six time Super Bowl champion Steelers attempt to keep the 49"ers from their sixth championship."

Stairway to seven boys!! You heard it here first!!

🎵Pittsburgh Going to tha Su per Bowl...Here we go! 🎶 sing it with me!!
