It has to be a game 7 for the Pens, too. Secure the PO tonight and put these surging Sens home. Get 40+ shots on Hammond and good things are bound to happen. Ottawa should be loud and crazy. Looking forward to it.

The Flyers only have 32 total wins so far.

The Penguins accounted for 25% of all the Flyers wins.

We'll worry about the flyers next year - my theory on that it's because they show the Pens no respect - in fact the whole division has picked up on that and are doing it too

That's why I think we win against the good teams and out west that never see this team much. Maybe the Flyers have done us a favor and we get the Habs first.
 
I don't know why the Pens go belly-up against the Flyers and now it is the rest of the division. The blueprint was laid out a few years ago in the PO and this team really hasn't been the same. A lot of skating, passing around the perimeter and standing around is the recipe for losses. Nothing has changed with a new GM, coaching staff and eleven new players. Something stinks in suburbia.

Yeah, a new coach is never a guarantee. There are lot's of Rod Marinellis, and Marty Mornhinwegs out there, ready to lead us to some 3-13 seasons.

I don't know why I care anymore. 3-1 lead to start the 3rd and they still lost? No desperation. They all should hang their heads and should be golfing come Monday. Ottawa shows what a team needs to do to win an important game. Screw this team.

Gonna be real hilarious when the Pens need the Flyers to beat the Sens in the final game to get to the post season and the Flyers will lay down. And I will thank them. This team does not deserve a post season berth. And Mario better be ready to unload everybody.
 
If I am Rutherford, I trade Crosby for the #1 pick. Throw in Perron or Pouliot or anyone to get that pick. Bring in McDavid. One can dream, right?
 
In all seriousness, I would not bring back Martin or Erhoff. Use that money for top 6 forwards. You know, ones that can finish. Bring up some of the young guys on D and see what happens. Couldn't be any worse than the train wreck we are seeing right now.
 
I'm so done. I'm a Pens fan for life, but this season is done. Even if there is a star in the east and we make the post season, I doubt I will watch. It's just too embarassing. The best we can hope for this at this point is another one and done playoff run.

both are FA and will not be back. Martin said he will test FA and Erhoff is becoming a $4M dud. Seemed like a great deal at the time, but he's OK, at best. Would rather see Harrington play. Bring all of WBS up. They can't do much worse. Besides Hornquist, I don't care who is here next year.
