Pens got a tad lucky with the goal being called off for goalie interference. If it was 3-2, the outcome could have been a lot different. Anyway, it was nice to see they didn't fold and maintained the lead on the road against a really good team.
They're taking way too long to score on PP's. I'd like to see them get that under ten seconds.

Eh, if you watch the slo mo repeat, the guy did go out of his way to land on top of the goalie and made no attempt to get off of him, which is key in GTI. You can get pushed into the goalie but you must make an effort to miss him and not continue to interfere with him when you are in the crease... also the pens scored that empty netter pretty easily...even if they counted the other goal the chance it affects the outcome of the game is not very high.... you dont play that poorly for that long in a game and get the right to expect a win from one questionable call when the end score is 4-1

Penguins Re-Sign Marc-Andre Fleury to a Four-Year Deal
The deal begins with the 2015-16 season and runs through the 2018-19 campaign, and has an average annual value of $5.75 million.
we speak and the FO listens. Kudos!
I thought that could have gone either way. He got pushed into Greiss and laid on him, but the goal happened rather quickly after it.
He is the Andy Dalton of goalies
Or Romo, except the Flower has actually won something....
you quoted yourself? Nice. lol
If there are better options, I'd welcome them. What they got him for, it's a cap friendly deal and he took a little less to stay in Pittsburgh.
I'm okay with the Flower deal. He has improved as of late, and we got him at a good price. Also, what other options did we have, that we could afford?
There really are no options out there........he's the man for the foreseeable future so I'll try to get behind him. But I hope the guy needs to be seeing a sports shrink as part of the deal. At least if he gets mental again they have a nice b/u.
Can't blame Fluery much for last years playoff exit. The rest of the team and coaches pretty much **** the bed that time. He does, however, still scare the **** out of me when he goes behind the net to handle the puck.
