That first period was second level, playoff stuff. Even the first part of the second period. But we went flat. Sloppy sticks, no forecheck, and letting them set up in our zone. We need to come out on that second level in the third. Another period like that 2nd, and we lose tonight.

Not sure if you listen to the Pens radio feed but I can't stand listening to Josh Getzoff. He is probably a great guy, but he sounds like a worm and whenever the Pens score he says "They Score". Sounds like the other team is scoring....He should try "Pens Score!" I guess I'm pretty biased after listening to Mike forever. At least Phil is still in the booth.

They went from playing the game to being on our heels. No forecheck, only drop ins, clearing without controling, icing a lot, etc.

The Pens biggest problem is that their bottom nine is so inconsistent, bottom six especially. Sid and Jake do pretty well every night, but that’s about it.

It was Bullshit the non call when he got punched in the head, but he should be smart enough with all his experience to realize doing something stupid after that was going to draw a penalty. And you cant do that with 2 minutes left in OT. His temper has cost them many games over the years, and I swear he commits at least 1 turnover that results in a goal every other game.....
