Pens hockey 21-22

Hey, at least Tanger got his out of the way right off the bat last night.

Got my nightly DAMMIT LETANG! out of the way too.
No kidding...He saved us a lot of trouble and anticipation.

Who's watching today's game?

I have to work tonight. I'm DING a party at a local restaurant. Cheer them on for me.

Work? I thought you were retired.. Will do. Listening to the game outside with the Terrible Terrier. What does DING stand for?

Kappy with a much needed goal.

Assists by Carter and the Big Rig Zahorna. Good nickname by Phil or Get off.

Based on the stats, Pens should be up 4-1. Can't understand how they consistently get outmatched by goalies that somehow have the game of their lives when they play the Pens. I'm thinking we're not getting quality shots on goal and or just throwing it at the goalie.... Unfortunately we no longer have someone camping out next to the goalie to knock in a juicy rebound.

Another blown opportunity to break it open on a 5-3....The Pens suck....

Ahhh buy Sam a drink and get his dog one too...

Malkin makes it 2-1

Ahhh get in the fast lane grandma the bingo game is ready to roll.

Sid with the rebound to make it 3-1

Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has just left the building.

Pens win 4-1....Sid with an ENG.

I’m just glad Simon got moved. Couple others could have been moved. Better than standing pat.
I agree. Not sure why they brought back Simon and ZAR was never the same after his encounter with Tom Wilson, it will be interesting to see how he does with another team

We'll see what happens but it seems like the Pens gave up two average players, a prospect, and a draft pick for another average player whose contract is up at the end of the year.

I think there was value until they gave up the pick. Thinking on it, I think the Pens over paid, but Rakell is far better than any of the players the Pens gave up.

My worry is that this turns out like the Brassard trade. That team was rolling. Made the move for Brassard and they were never the same. This team obviously isn’t that team, but chemistry matters and if the guy doesn’t fit, you just ****** your whole team up.

The Brassard trade was the exception, not the rule. That trade made a ton of sense. He was the leading scorer in the previous years' playoffs. Can't really tell what did and didn't happen there. Rakell is the Ducks' leading scorer, 3rd in assists, and 2nd for points for them. I feel good about this trade, which means nothing.

He should have had an assist on his first shift but Kappy got spastic and missed the pitch in . That guy is cursed

Don't mess with the Zahorna

1-1

Half off Jake's Shakes

2-1

Ahhh but Sam a drink and get his dog 1-2

Rusty makes it 3-1

Arrrgghh, ye better keep a weather eye open, this group of Penguins are in a feeding frenzy.. Best hide the women and children and Lia Thomas below decks...Arrr
