I missed it so I went back and watched the shot of him on the bench a while ago after they mentioned it today. Not a good look. It didn't help that Al Michaels pointed out he had 2 catches for - yards right after that lol.
You can see with this guy that this is going to be a problem. This all started last year in Atlanta IIRC.
The fact that HE cost them a TD and himself some much needed press makes his actions even more ridiculous.

Something that really seems to be lacking is the ability to teach these young players how to act like professionals. Doesn't seem to be a lot of leadership on the offensive side of the ball. Extremely disappointing.
I agree @steelcan58. I guess I’m just old and expect this crap to be handled in house by some veterans.

Didn’t see anything but I called this awhile ago. He has all the traits. And I don’t blame him, I’d be pissed the **** off too because it’s his livelihood and needs to get paid and with this **** O and OC. Ahh

But seriously, teams are focusing their D around bracketing him, he better improve his route running and separation skills to be a top 5 WR as he hopes.
I'd sit him for the next game and tell him 'this is what we do with little b-words so sit there until you can act like a man!'
I am not overly worried....yet.
Potential is there to be a distraction but for now it is just social media postering and sideline sulking.
If it escalates into more than an occasional blip then they need to off-season address it.
Guy is ultra competitive and ball hungry.

Exactly. He's really immature and he has to understand most teams with half a brain defensively will lock him up. He will have to fight through it. It opens up stuff for other receivers too.
Oh well I don't care. Run the damn ball. They need to get that squared away. They damn sure are good at getting wide receivers.
It is a bummer though.
When Johnson was out, he got a lot of targets. Even when bracketed/doubled. DJ comes back and Pickett is back to acting like he hardly exists. I said it earlier in the season, Pickett targets DJ sometimes to the detriment of the offense.

I wonder how well he takes the constructive criticism from the coaches in the film room? If I see him asked about it in an interview this week, the correct response should be…it was on me, I should have dragged my back foot.
Tell him to ball out the rest of the year and he can seek a trade in the offseason… a first and a second is the bare minimum. …but ask two firsts… I almost assure you we will get a first plus a premium pick for him… then you draft two wrs with those picks to absolutely make sure you get one good one and potentially two…

He messed up in that TD. No question. That said, how can the guy flourish when the other targets he had sailed over his head, led him by a mile? Hell, the had him on a comeback route on goal to go inside the ten. That’s not maximizing his talents. I understand his frustration. Guy is an afterthought in this offense for the most part and I don’t understand why.
Makes you wonder what the argument/fist fight between Trubisky and DJ was last year was really about…
