Got my Steelers/ Bucs tickets today (Section 137) Boom!!! Akron is playing Pitt on the Saturday. Doubt that is a 4 star matchup, but it isn't every day we get to see an NCAA football game. On the website the upper level tickets are selling for $25 a pop. Don't want to stub hub these. Will better tickets become available later on? Are they easy to get? General cost?

I'd say probably cheaper. Last year I got Pitt vs Miami tickets for 6 dollars a piece.

Pitt games are a great way to get cheap club level seats.

Pitt only sells out when they play Notre Dame or WVU. Any other time you can buy at the gate or from scalpers trying to unload them.

So basically show up at the game and buy the tickets at the ticket office. Should be able to get good seats.

Basically yes. Can't say how good they'll be but the worst you'll be is on the second level. They don't even open the upper deck except for the two aforementioned games.

You don't want to miss on a chance to watch Tyler Boyd, but you can definitely do cheaper than that. I know you don't want to use StubHub, but the ticket prices are in the single digits right now, just for reference.

I think the only way Pitt becomes competitive again is if the NCAA institutes a high school draft.

Like waiting for the Steelers season to begin, I always start the college season with anticipation for the Panthers.

Hard to compete with teams that have locker rooms, players' lounges and facilities on par with five-star hotels.

Use StubHub, it works great. You should be able to get respectable seats for ~ $10/each.

Thanks for the info. I always know I can get real on the ground info this way faster and more reliably than any other source. Can't wait for the trip. Hope it goes smooth and make a scaled down version frequently. Been to three road games, but I'm thinking the atmosphere of this will be unmatched for our family.

I sat in the upper deck for the Miami game with season ticket holders. So yes they actually do open up the top.
