I would agree with this statement except for his tendency to denigrate those who disagree with his opinion ... oh and the fact that anyone who even so much as points out anything good the HC has done is labeled a ballchinian nut hugger. Other than that, he's a swell guy.

Totally agree. I've had some bloody fights with Vader but I respect him. Getting tired of all the nasty personal attacks. Let the **** go and focus on football. Vader is opinionated, (He was also completely wrong about Kordell Stewart. ;-) ) but he doesn't just come up with stuff out of nowhere.

Enough with the bullshit attacks. Get along or go to your rooms.

Vader has a tendency to go to personal **** and name calling....have to disagree...even male posters sometimes fall into the bleeding **** category....
 
I will say this ... I for one am extremely happy with the team making the playoffs. Now that it has happened, everyone wants to be nicey, nice and forget all the personal attacks, etc. leveled by some for these last two years. Fine, let's enjoy the playoffs and the growth of this team that Tomlin has guided to the playoffs.

Steelers won and are in the playoffs, Ravens lost and browns are pathetic again... Cinci is quaking in its ***** boots... Its a Christmas miracle!

Man, Harrison was flying around out there like he was 5-6 years younger. And Heyward was around the ball all day. It was beautiful to see.

The arrow is pointing up lately. I have no trouble saying that. I'm not saying I was wrong before but the men have turned over some stones back at the lab and addressed their deficiencies if you will and are proceeding on a better course in the game of football where the most important game is the next game and what's behind us is just popcorn and elevator music, obviously.
 
Supporters don't need to rub it in, that's the job of the haters.

We can all enjoy a postseason game and hopefully a run this season.

Offense is the best we ever had and the defense is playing with intensity. We look very much like the Ravens did a couple years back. Middle rung defense, putting it together at the end with a balanced offense. Let's hope ben can match Flacco's playoff run that season!

i will agree with this. i will also state that when he has an a discussion he brings facts and knows his stuff....as you said some times you don't always agree with him but he is one of the good ones here.

um... that's not exactly a good indicator of how terribad the defense was in the first half. when they got the chance to pin their ears back on a one dimensional and rather sad KC O it hid a lot of bigger issues. I would not say the o played badly..... and the d really wasn't very good for the majority of the game. it simply doesn't give up points in the red zone, which is nice, but that probably wont fly vs better QB's

And, if Alex Smith hits that wide open deep middle pattern (where Blake was 3 or 4 yards behind) early in the third quarter, and the Chiefs take the lead, the outcome of this game might have been very different.

But hey, we're here to rejoice and congratulate the nuthuggers about how right they were, yes?
 
This team is on the path to good things.....we know what we have on offense...still feeling things out on defense......look at this season in a nutshell...

at the beginning we struggled with penalties and mistakes....closing out games.....after the first six games we sat at 3-3....since then, 7-2...last year, finished 6-2 after the 0-4 start. Fix the defense and we are in the playoffs every year....

*we've proven we can win without Ike, Keisel, James and Troy...the young guys filling in are playin as well as can be expected....things are lookin up for this team. Reloading

Ahhh, yes, the olive branch is extended with one hand, while the other holds a hammer ... lol. If Smith had hit the pass, the outcome MAY have been different. As it MAY have been a different score had Heath not dropped a TD pass, or had Bryant ran to the inside of the field on his long reception. None of those things happened though, so the outcome was what it was.
And I'd prefer that we congratulate the team on this win and making the playoffs. Sure as hell beats sitting around thinking about "what if" and "Maybe".

I'm happy we made the playoffs. I want the division next week. Then who knows. Our offense will have to carry the team this year if it's going to go all the way.

Lol I may have misnamed this thread... maybe it ought to be "playoffs, bitching"...


Look im no fan of how the D played, but they clearly gameplanned to take Charles out of the picture and let Smith beat them if he could... and he couldn't. Its also possible we are saving Bell for the playoffs... this game was 100% one I thought we would pound the rock ...despite them loading the box.. we must be pretty scared of that RB depth. I hope if the game gets at all out of hand one way or the other we feed Harris or anyone else some carries next week just to see who can do what....
