Preseason Steelers Vs Texans game thread

Is it just me, or does it seem that Allen’s passes seem to take forever to get there?

I’m really trying hard not to sound or appear negative this year but I just don’t want to allow myself to get all jacked up just to be let down once again.
I’m getting so ******* tired of the same schtick every year but I’m trying to stay positive.
Been loving this organization for a very long time and been through the bad and great times just seems like I buy in every summer and get the rug pulled from under me every fall.
I have my doubts about this team and the QBs but I’m pulling hard for Justin Fields to live up to his potential here. I gladly love to be wrong about Fields and this team. If he succeeds, great, we have our QB for a long time. If not, I’ll be pulling and hoping for Ole Russ.
Let the games begin!
It's the same ole. same ole. Nothing has changed.

It's still a mediocre Mike team, sure enough.

MT still showing his lack of coaching..why go for 2 when trailing by 8..maybe I'm missing something

It could be on Fields. He may not have a bunch of under center experience. I think he was almost all shotgun at Ohio State and Chicago.
Yea, and he's been in the NFL for THREE ***************** years. And he can't get a grip on handling the ball? Good God.

Picket just 13-21 for 90 yards as he played both quarters. If the other guy plays well in the 2nd half, ol' Kenny is going to be sweating being QB3 or even not on the team.
13-21, 90 yards. Those are the Kenny #s I remember. No TDs?

Sure would have been nice to see Roman Wilson. Anyone know his status?

Say what you want about Tomlin's teams, or preseason, or whatever, but the Texans are WAAAYYYY better tonight than we are. It's men against boys.

Houston far more prepared and Steelers suffering from no discipline, same ole under Mediocre Mike. But hey, some snappy quips are sure to be coming!
