Sounds like Trubisky is taking hold of QB1 Job

By the way, @slashsteel ... Did you know that besides being the size of a small dog, two of the defining characteristics of the Tasmanian Devil are it's pungent body odor and extremely loud and disturbing screech. Interesting correlations could be drawn.

Even though technically we can't smell throught the internet,................ there sure is something that keeps showing up and stinking up the place. Twattwaffles seem to wafe.

Good information from @SteelBuckeye

If you were less of a tool to posters and stuck more to football nobody would say **** to you. But if you act like you are starving for attention and push for it don't be shocked when you get responses you don't care for. Plenty of posters have had words and got over each other. Adjust a little and you will be fine, if not you won't last long. The mods aren't interested in whatever you are pedaling so you might as well cut the cord with that mambo chahambo.
Again, I don't care two figs about your personal behavior... Don't even tell me... But instead, you choose to throw it in my face and say, "ooh, look at me... I'm toeing the line...." I don't know if you agree, or disagree with me on, for example, how the Steelers should handle the QB1 position... I know your posts have little to do with the Steelers, (As evidenced in your post above...) and the way you write makes you seem like a jerk... Maybe you need to adjust your attitude....

what the hell are you even saying here?

slash is as jerk.....but he is our jerk

you are some douche coming in whining about bullshit.

Hello?? It's 2022... you're stuck in the old Bruce Arians, Ken Whisenhunt, Mike Mularkey offenses... This is the Matt Canada offense, where Mason Rudolph's role is as different from Mitch Trubisky's role (Mason and Mitch's role are QB2a and QB2b, I guess...), as Dan Moore's LT is different from Chuks Okorafor's RT.... Get that thinkin' into mid-season (THIS mid-season...) shape... No Lazyboy-time for your brain.... although your base language tells me I'm gonna hafta do some heavy liftin' to carry y'all to upper tier thinkin' this season....
If this nonsensical reply to my description of the backup QB position is an example of your "upper tier" thinking, then you might be an even bigger asswipe than I thought you were. And that's saying something.

So Benny Snell is from Ohio, but "Benny Snell football (tm)" is from UK, (as I said....)
hmmm it seems he applied for the trademark on Benny Snell Football in November of 2020 and it lists the address in Westerville, OH

so I believe you are incorrect

I don't know which twatwaffle slash is (unless he's the guitarist for U2... Is that who you mean?? that's pretty cool...)
I AM whining about personal bullsh|t... Because that's all people around here sling... STOP... Talk about the Steelers...
Sitting the rookie is the philosophy of past OC's. It doesn't seem to be the philosophy of Matt Canada... If one realizes that Kenny Pickett stayed in college when others chose to move to the NFL, one can see that he is NFL-ready, and does not need to sit... Comment on that... Leave your personal bull$h|t with your husband on the table with the sandwiches you made...

if you re-read this thread, you are not as innocent as you are trying to make your self out to be

your first post in here is a shot at the writer of the article that began this thread. as if being against rudy at qb is a bad thing

you go on to belittle several posters points while trying to make yours seem better

then there is the idiotic back and forth over Benny Snell Football. no matter what you claim the groundwork for that was started at his high school where he got noticed by UK. I don't believe that while he was in college that he could have trademarked his name as it was likely against the rules at the time

I do know that the trademark application was signed in November 2020 so I guess Benny Snell Football began while he was in Pittsburgh...I don't care where the form was filed.

also what decent poster on any website starts a single response to another post with Hello?....much less multiple ones in the same thread. talk about ******* lame

I was reading that thread while you were posting this... I didn't qualify the article one way or another... I asked if people read it.... So you are judging whether I think MR is QB1 is a bad thing... I said nothing about that...
Where did I belittle anyone?? Maybe it's not me who needs to grow thicker skin... and didn't someone suggest that people have been called worst things here?? (Although 'twatwaffle" was pretty bad... and clumping me in with a jerk like Spike and accusing me of appropriating Bob's persona borders on slander...)
I made the distinction between Benny Snell and the product "Benny Snell football..." Others chose not to pay attention...
"Benny Snell football" was a thing long before he was drafted by Pittsburgh...
When greeting people, or trying to focus their attention, I learned that saying Hello is more polite than calling them a "tool..."
Maybe "tool" is your way to say "Hello," but I don't use that language...

you are not "greeting" anyone here

stating Hello? in that way is a wiseass move and you are aware of that

you stated the writer of the article was a "never-Rudopher" which implies he never wants rudy at QB and while it doesn't necessarily mean you do, it does come across as a shot at him for thinking otherwise

you made a distinction no one gave a **** about, but. he could not trademark it in college so the "Product" didn't start until 2020 while he was a Steeler....whether the groundwork for it began at UK or high school just doesn't ******* matter

your "right the i meant to excuse" is belittling

tool is my way to point out you are being a tool

Time to stop the back and forth **** and try to show you know at least a little about football or the Steelers

your act is beyond tiresome

Telling people what to do, or what you think they are or are not is not a good look....
the "i meant to excuse" is belittling, that's why I don't use it.... nice pivot attempt, though...
Who's acting?? Employing proven strategies to learn is the purpose of message boards, acting like a know-it-all and name-calling is the act...

and you wonder why you get called a tool.
Didn't you describe the exact same concept using the exact same kind of words?? Except you called me names... Or was your comment not sincere?? Then I guess I'm not what you called me.... Perhaps that's where we differ... I encourage you not to project your attitude...

Why don't you just shut the f""k up and try to talk sensible football. Nobody gives a damn about your crappy viewpoint on posters, moderators, or rules. Just one lame post after another while screaming pay attention to me pay attention to me.

Or, things go how Tomlin said before Trubiski was acquired and when Pickett wasn't even a twinkle in Tomlin's eye... "Iron will sharpen iron at Latrobe..." The Steelers brought in Mitchie to be iron to sharpen the iron that is Kenny Pickens. The Steelers have the best backup quarterback in the NFL (Rudolph). That position's been filled. Whoever doesn't start, will be #3... I now see that it was never the intention of the Steelers to start Rudolph... He was brought in to play the exact position he played (backup for Ben...) He wasn't drafted in the second round to replace Ben... Even Ben was surprised, as he's said, because he thought a third round QB was enough to replace him... But as has been seen, a first rounder was needed to replace him... but a second rounder (Rudolph) was needed to back him up.....
absolutely none of this rambling paragraph makes an iota of sense.

1. Mitch was brought in before Pickett "when Pickett wasn't even a twinkle in Tomlin's eye"
ok...

2. The Steelers brought in Mitchie to be iron to sharpen the iron that is Kenny Pickens.
Condescends the first point you attempted to make.

So either Mitch was brought in without Pickett being in place (hint, that's correct) - or the Steelers signed Mitch to help Pickett along after Pickett was here (hint, that's incorrect).

3. Rudolph is not the best backup QB in the league. Any league. NFL, USFL, XFL, Indoor... no.

4. Whoever doesn't start will be #3
So if Pickett somehow wins the starting job, they'll put Mitch at 3? Is that what you're insinuating? That's what you said, but there is no way in hell that Mason's got the #2 job firmly in his grasp. His status as a Steeler was shaky as soon as Pickett was chosen in the draft.

5. Ben didn't think a 3rd round QB was enough to replace him. Where did he ever say that? He was irritated about the selection of Mason since he was coming off a 12-3 record, having thrown for more than 4200 yards and 28 TDs. he openly stated that he didnt believe the pick would provide immediate help to a team with Super Bowl aspirations... not that Rudolph could ever (EVER) take his job.

6. Neither Mitch, Pickett nor Mason are "replacing" Ben. Ben retired.

7. Mason was not chosen in the second round, no matter how many times you attempt to change history in saying it.

I think we should have a mod competition.
That way Coolio and Soop can battle for SN.com Mod 3/4 behind the starters Lexx and Lunar at Mod 1/2.

Lexx and Lunar are free agent mods.
scrap heap material
only Supe is the real mod
Collie is a pretend, wanna-be bean counter with an Enron stench

Lexx and Lunar? scrubs both of them

and supe is somewhere below both of them

likely licking their bungholes

Who you leaning towards at 3? 😁
Coolie has done a lot of great work in this thread; he hasn't taken a post off yet, so his level of compete is high.
Supe just inserted himself into the conversation, got the job done immediately and scored the points.

So, at this point, we are clearly looking at 3A and 3B.

@CoolieMan - if we ban Foncluence, wouldnt the collective IQ of the forum elevate into at least the single digits without us posting again?
