Steelers’ Omar Khan Is Working On Securing A Massive Playmaker: “Very Close To Landing A Significant Playmaker”

Our scrub cupboard is full.

The one thing about Martavous Bryant is the fact he wasn’t Re-Used” properly.

Just because him and Stryker went missing in the Amazon, doesn’t mean he couldn’t be brought back in here and re-used properly.

He’d look good in B & G

He would sign for “vet” minimum

Anything is possible………… !!!

Prayerfully, Roman can step up quickly and be the desired #2 that we need!!!
Let's see, relying on a 3rd-round rookie WR to make a significant influence in production. Let's take a quick look at history to see what the odds are of that.

2022, Pickens 2nd round pick, 52 rec, 801 yrds, 4 TDs. Not bad.
2022, Austin 4th rnd pick, 0 grabs. OK, not so great.
2020, Claypool 2nd rounder, 62 rec, 832 yds, 9 TDs. Not bad at all.
2019 DJ, 2nd round, 59 recs, 680 yds, 5 TDs. Not too shabby.
2018 James Washington, 2nd rounder, 16 recs, 217 yds, 1 TD. Not too stellar.
2017, JuJu, 2nd round, 58 rec, 917 yds. 7 TDs. Nice.
2016, 7th Damarcus Ayers, zip.
2015 Sammie Coates, 1 rec, 11 yards.
2014 Dri Archer, 3rd round, zilch
2014 Martavis Bryant, 4th round, 26 rec, 459 yrds
2013 Marcus Wheaton, 3rd, 6 rec, 64 yds.
2013 Justin Brown, 6th, zilch

It could work out.

The most unbelievable part is there is so much direct evidence to show the player. Claypool keeps his mouth shut and does roughly what he did at the beginning of his career. He is putting 40-50 million dollars in his jeans. Now he is at last chance U before it's hello Saskatchewan Roughriders.

I mean, Pickens does have a history with some attitude issues. At this point it'll be about production whether versus how much they'll tolerate.
Like Tomlin says they will tolerate you until they can replace you. But DJ sort of broke that mold.

Chase is on the last page of his passport if he wants a keep his us passport he better show josh allen something.
As of now and we don't know till the pads are on if they will flip Jones and how ready Fuatana is as well as Frazier we may see a OL of
Moore Isaac Herbig Daniels Jones

The hope is before the first pre-season game
Jones Semo Frazier/Herbig Daniels Fautana

as for WR could trade for Scary Terry from Washington n then extend him 5 years 100 million 40 guaranteed
if Van Watkins Calloway Austin can't cut it for WR 2 then look at Sutton for a 3rd n 5,

Like Tomlin says they will tolerate you until they can replace you. But DJ sort of broke that mold.
And that is one of Tomlin's biggest faults. Letting the cancer take root to grow.

Martavis Bryant could fall in this category as well. If he’d kept his clock clean, he’d be getting paid very well.

These lucky genetic athletes, foolishly giving up millions.

To a much lesser extent Juju. He's made his but I'd say about half of possibility.

IMO, Pickens can be a guy like Chase, Lamb or any of the top WRs. He's had **** at QB, **** at offensive coordinator and behind a bitchy teammate.
Now that all those are removed and Pickens is the de facto #1 on the team, he can shine.

and if he does, no doubt they lock him up long term to a big money contract. good thing is he'll have one year left on his rookie contract, so we could sign him to an extension after this year or give him another year to prove it with tags. Either way, we're currently in a damn good spot with Pickens' talent. Or we trade him after this year and gain some valuable picks.

But if we trade for Aiyuk, may as well kiss Pickens goodbye. No way do we have that much money invested in the WR spot when we also have Roman Wilson and CA3 on rookie deals and they'll be gaining valuable experience this year. Aiyuk, Pickens, Wilson and CA3 would be formidable... but next year we'd no doubt be looking to move George.
If we traded for Aiyuk, we would probably have to include Pickens... the reality remains that while Aiyuk can "Hold in" for camp and just not practice, he really cant for the regular season. If he refuses to play, he is in breach of contract, wont get paid and wont get ufa next year... if he tries to half *** it, his numbers drop and thus his payday next season drops... the 9rs have him by the balls... he really has no real leverage

Stop spamming up the board with bullish!t.
That would have to include 50% of your posts accusing me of being someone else but yet you refuse to accept the bet. Those posts are all bulls-- and you know it. Stop abusing the board. Get some stones.

In which of those seasons was any one of those wrs expected to be anything but a 4th or 5th wr? Of tge ones you point out had bad seasons, only Washington was brought in hoping he would contribute right away, and that was as a third wr option in a system that wasn't 3rd wr friendly.. juju and brown got 160 plus targets apiece that year

Guys like weaton were wr 4

austin was injured...

Of the ten best rookie wr seasons from 2000 on, 3 were top ten picks we are never gonna see.. there was a 12th overall and a 15th that we rarely draft around, Jefferson at 22oa, then the last 4 were 2 2nd rounders, a 3rd, and a fifth...

I mean i look at that list and see that 4 of their last six draftees made an impact as a rookie, and 1 of the 2 that didnt got a season ending injury in preseason...

Guys like Wheaton were buried on the depth chart year one, but contributed after that...

Guys like Ayers were seventh rounders not really drafted to contribute right away... that season remember, that year Bryant got suspended for the year and the steelers expected sammie Coates to step up, but coates mangled his fingers playing special teams and was never the same.. Ayers was just a gamble who made the roster for a short time..
