According to a report by NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers showed interest into signing former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to SteelerNation that the Steelers looked into signing OBJ, as Chase Claypool is just recently considered week to week with a toe injury and JuJu Smith-Schuster is out for season with a shoulder injury.
Pair those injuries with the his talent, and you get a team that should obviously look to acquire his services. Unfortunately, it was too late into the process.
Ultimately the Steelers were too late, as OBJ eventually signed with the Los Angelas Rams.

When Odell Beckham Jr was whittling down his choices on Thursday, the #Steelers called to make a last-ditch run at a former rival. Alas, a bit too late.

He received an offer at the veteran’s minimum from the Packers, while most of the rest of the offers were around a $1 million base salary with a chance to make a few more million with incentives. The Chiefs, Patriots, Seahawks, Saints and Packers all made offers, as did the Rams.
Interestingly, when Beckham was narrowing it down, the Steelers called to make a play, too. But by then, he was on to finalists.
