Jacksonville helped us and won today.
Held the Rats to less than 20 today.Yes and I said run defense still has to get better, but it has been improved from last year. It has had some good games and some big stops. We are two players short of being really good against the run.
So now it’s the offenses fault that the FG got blocked? One FG in those 4 times we had scoring position was all that was needed.
3 official targets Coach Canada.....THREE
They had a hand in it. Just because they weren't number 1 on the suck list they definitely contributed to the loss. Especially in the crunch moment of the game where good Ds make plays. Or **** get the hell of the field to allow the O a chance to win it. Just not good enough on a game to game basis to go where the team needs to go to be successful. Decision making on and off the field continues to plague this team. Let alone substandard coaching on every part of the team.I am not absolving them entirely, they didn’t win the game. But they didn’t lose us this game. Even if we make that last stop there is no sure thing we score. We should have had a lead in this one. Probably a multi score lead, without changing anything the defense did.
Well they did have three more chances that could have easily been at least 3 points but you know, umm Mitch gave it away.So now it’s the offenses fault that the FG got blocked?
I would take 16 points given up every ******* week. Like I said they could have won it but they didn’t lose it for us.They had a hand in it. You and your merry band of anti vax idiots have indeed implied that. Over and over. It’s well documented.I never said that or anything like that. Keep telling lies.
Anti Vax? I am vaxxed you blithering idiot. You and your merry band of anti vax idiots have indeed implied that. Over and over. It’s well documented.
I get how you feel. But in the one aspect of D they failed miserably. Tomlin himself even alluded to not being able to stop the run as a contributing problem. They don't get a pass. At home against a third string QB they should be able to at least get a stop when the game is on the line. Still not the number 1 problem but a problem that still needs addressed and fixed.I would take 16 points given up every ******* week. He also had 276 yards passing and two TD drives, what did the defense contribute?Well they did have three more chances that could have easily been at least 3 points but you know, umm Mitch gave it away.
I agree to a point but how many opportunities should you have to have to score 3 points in the redzone. If we had won despite that it would have been a monumental win for the defense. Hell how comfortable are you that we would have been able to score if they do hold them?I get how you feel. But in the one aspect of D they failed miserably. Only allowing 16 points. You are really bad at this.He also had 276 yards passing and two TD drives, what did the defense contribute?
Are you really once again trying to defend the indefensible? Mitch sucked in the redzone, period. He also had 276 yards passing and two TD drives, what did the defense contribute?
True, but so did the Rats' 3rd string QB.I feel like Mitch would have played better with some first team reps. Coming off the bench cold is tough.
As noted football sage John Madden once said, "If you want to win the game you have to score more points than the other team."Are you really once again trying to defend the indefensible? Mitch sucked in the redzone, period.
The guy literally threw 5 passes.True, but so did the Rats' 3rd string QB.
Score a FG? Real comfy. Plenty of time to get into position to score one.I agree to a point but how many opportunities should you have to have to score 3 points in the redzone. To a 3rd team QB seeing his first NFL action. Who’s bad at this?Only allowing 16 points. You are really bad at this.
So you're saying a good running game is important? Interesting. The guy literally threw 5 passes.
You far and away. I will ask again, what happens if the offense gets 3 points in one of those 4 trips? 3 points!!! I am not sure you are smart enough to figure it out.To a 3rd team QB seeing his first NFL action. Who’s bad at this?
I don’t disagree on playing the young guys, I do disagree on being able to score after we failed to do so 4 times. Evidence today is against that. What makes you think we could have? What makes you think he doesn’t heave up a prayer for his 4th INT? Coaching should have called for runs when we got close after the first and for sure after the second INT. A FG would have been huge.Score a FG? Real comfy. Plenty of time to get into position to score one.
Far as those points left on the field that is the number 1 reason for the loss. Mitch was an experiment, simply a failed one.
Very curious why Worm and Alualu saw the field as much as they did being poor run stuffers.
This team for me just continues not to put their players in the best position to succeed. What is up with the rookie and Loudermilk they they were so high on?
It is constant bad decisions on and off the field nobody can convince me of anything different.
