Steelers will NOT be on the field for National Anthem.

LOL @ fake Steeler fans rooting AGAINST THEIR OWN TEAM because of politics. Fake *** *************. Go jump on the Patriots bandwagon.

Truly pathetic. Never thought I'd see so many yellow-bellied Steelers fans. It's a sad, sad day.

Seahawks and Titans remain in locker rooms during national anthem

The Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans announced Sunday that both of their teams would remain in their locker rooms during their game that day, according to The Tennessean.

Both teams reportedly discussed the topic before the game and reached an agreement to not appear during the anthem, according to MMQB’s Adam Breer.

“We will not stand for the injustice that has plagued people of color in this country,” the Seattle Seahawks said in a statement.

“Out of love for our country and in honor of the sacrifices made on our behalf, we unite to oppose those that would deny our most basic freedoms. We remain committed in continuing to work towards equality and justice for all.”

LOL, Trump losing Robert Kraft, that's rich.

NFL owners pan Trump’s attacks on players’ free speech

It is called protecting the brand..........a brand that is becoming less and less attractive. And I started feeling this way even before the Kaepernick circus. These games, with the never ending supply of penalty flags, are sometimes unwatchable. A big mess.

That s a great narrative...are you a member of the media? I'm not rooting against the Steelers because of politics. I'm disappointed in them for in my opinion, disrespecting the flag.

Tibs ignores that because he knows he can't argue with it, so he makes it about political issues.

Think Progress again Tibsy ? Liberal smack and slander is all you can get over there ?

Ask Uncle George to spring for some real news for a change instead of socialist propaganda.. You Libs want to make this about Trump but the Black Liberation Theology of Barack Hussein Obama opened Pandora's box to the militant anti-white rhetoric we are now seeing, years ago. This was all planned and Barry is still stocking them flames with mega cash from leftist sites like Think Progress and Organizing for Action.

The NFL missed the opportunity to squash this racist nonsense before it got to this point but it may be too late now to do anything but let it ride to whatever end it brings.

Hey dipshit, it's a collection of official tweets from NFL front offices around the league. Too difficult to comprehend, I know.

Nice job Terry, didn't think you had it in 'ya.

Yea, but do you think they're going to say? They are indeed trying to protect their brand, however, the foxes are now running the henhouse, which is a huge mistake by the owners and NFL. Hell, Google just fired a guy who actually made a reasonable argument about the company's hypocrisy with regard to diversity, but just like the left, they don't want to hear it or discuss something that goes against their belief, so they fired of him. The left supported that, however fights against what Trump said. Hypocrisy and complete inconsistency.

Oh I comprehend the source just fine and that would be Mr. Dipshit to a foreign troll. Funny how two of the biggest libtard loudmouths on this site don't even live in this Country but want to dictate to us how we are to feel about our issues.

**** off Troll and take them disrespectful ******* millionaires with you.

You both forgot "on their own time". As I said in another thread, I dare you to do that at your place of employment. Go ahead. Tell me how that works out for you.

Show me where he said they didn't have the right to protest. If he did, I haven't seen it. He said they should be fired. Congrats Tibs. You're now hanging your hat on TB...one of the stupidest humans on the planet.

I am not sure what is right and wrong with this subject anymore. But I can tell you I was very proud to see big AL out there even if he was by himself.

The NFL owners? You want to kick them out of the country now?

If you get triggered so easily by think progress, then you can click through the 32 NFL team websites one by one and read the press releases there, be my guest.

And not for a second would I want to dictate to you how you should 'feel or think about our issues'. It's a free country, you can be as much of a dumbass as you choose to be.

Because Trump can't get anything done, he likes spending his time stirring up controversy.
We are becoming a divided do nothing nation.

Yeah, I think he saw health care tanking again and wanted to shift narrative. I doubt he believes even 1/3 of what comes out of his mouth.

Maybe not. But that certainly doesn't separate him from any other politician in American history.

Bullshit. You really think Reagan would pull this divisive bullshit? He was a glad-hander. He didn't pride himself on kicking people in the balls.

Even the people who disagreed with him still loved him. Trump isn't just a greasy politician, he's an insufferable boor. He's trashed the Republicans William F Buckley brand of dignified discourse.

We are becoming a divided do nothing nation.

We've been a divided nation for 9 years.

Those racial divisions actively began under a President who instantly determined guilt/innocence in cases like Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin. Vs. being Presidential, he jumped into a fray he had no business in, casting his version of the truth when he didn't have it.

It began when this President sent White House delegates to those funerals, but refused to send White House delegates when the first General killed in war returned to Dover.

They began when that President fanned the flames in this current war against police we've been suffering now for years, with police assassinations becoming common place, at times at the hands of BLM.

This division began when that President told illegal immigrants they could break the law and vote. This division began when that President launched and continued his war on Christianity and middle class America.

I could go on.

We aren't becoming...we've been a divided nation.

We weren't divided under Bush? That's news to me. Half the country was under protest over the war. Code pink was at every major event. And the occupy movement formed because of the Wall Street malfeasance.

But yeah. Keep telling the lie that it's all the Kenyan Muslim President's fault.

Seemed like Obama was in office two minutes when he decided to take sides in a Cambridge incident , where an officer detained a man that was reported to be breaking into a home.
"Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home, and, what I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there's a long history in this country of African Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately."

separate and apart from this incident..
..but, Obama adds it in, to stir the **** right from the beginning of his 8 year run.

Those saying that if you haven't been in the military then you have no say are off the mark in my opinion. I tried to join the military at 18. The standards were so strict then that because I had a GED, even though I had an ACT score of 31, I was ineligible. Both of my brothers and my uncle served proudly. I have strong feelings about respecting our flag and anthem. These players should be activists away from the game in my opinion.
