Super Bowl LVII

Ok. You are the one. But watch tomorrow when the video starts coming out of the 7 or 8 similar plays by the Chiefs not called. Not one hold, not one hands to the face not one illegal contact, not one interference. Like that's ****** impossible.
the refs are never going to perfect. You realize that, right?

That's the point. They called the game one way throughout and then decided the game with a ticky tack bullshit call. If they were calling everything all game maybe....there are tugs and holds on every play.

I know by the letter of the rules that was a penalty. Hell the guy who committed it knows he tugged his jersey. But in the context of the game with all that had to have been let go you just can't make that call and I've ref'd a hell of a lot of games. Yes the Eagles defense is responsible for the loss, but there is a minute left to tie or possibly win. It was a brutal call and a ****** end.

Eagles were the better team. They should have won easily, but instead of running the ball And putting the game away, they wanted to prove something bypassing a lot. Sanders and Gainwell had just 7 carries each. Ridiculous. You have the best run blacking OL in the league and a double digi lead but you want to prove something by throwing.

The defensive holding call vs JuJu was a joke. Maybe he grabbed a bit but in no way did he hinder JuJu’s route. Without that call, KC likely still kicks the FG but Eagles get the ball balc with nearly w minutes to respond. It’s a real shame that a bad call taints what was others]wise a great game.

I watched the SB down in Philly with friends. Theres actually. Chiefs bar in south Philly but they decided to close for the SB to avoid trouble. Probably a good with this outcome, plus the DA in Philly doesn’t prosecute crimes

It was not a bad call. Without the hold maybe JuJu would have been open sooner. The guy had a hand full of jersey enough to pull it like a foot. Then he put his hands on him again. It is bad optics, but it was a penalty. It doesn't matter if the ball was catchable or not. It was not PI it was holding before the ball was thrown. The Eagles were getting away with things as well as pointed out in this thread. The Eagles D crapped the bed and the Hurts fumble let KC hang around.

Great game. Legitimate holding call. He actually grabbed his jersey twice. JuJu juked him badly and would have been wide open in the endzone. It was an obvious penalty and he got caught. Even Bradberry admitted he held him but was hoping the refs wouldn't call. He can man up to it but Beagle fans and Chiefs haters can't. It's hilarious. The refs aren't great. We all know that but it was the correct call. It just sucks when it happened.

I saw it noted on FB by someone from Philly that in the span on 4 months their teams lost the World Series, the MLS Cup, and the Super Bowl.

What things were the Eagles getting away with? The Chiefs had three penalties for 14 yards which is basically saying they had nothing but pre snap penalties. I have no doubts the Eagles got away with things. That is the point. you didn't call anything the whole damn game except the most obvious and then ruined the whole damn game in the end with a ticky tack call theat probably happened seven times throughout.

EXCELLENT

Salute the nation

Even if the call was technically correct, I thought it was a smelly ending to a great game. It could have been a great ending too, with either a stop by the KC defense, a game winning TD drive, or a FG sending it to OT. Too bad. I really didn't care who won. I have no hate for either team when they're not playing the Steelers.

Philly's coach and Kelce's loud mouth do annoy me a bit.
