Oh, and as to the ruling - good God, every sentient being knows that the 14th amendment is a LIMIT on state power, not a GRANT of power to the states to set election rules for Federal elections.

Well lets face it, Trump is no spring chicken and is likely a walking heart attack waiting to happen. Either of the candidates could drop dead at any moment. Hell for all we know Biden might have actually died a year ago and they have just animated his corpse, it is what he looks like.
