Anyone know how many folks have been evacuated over the past week? Or since the middle of August? How bout over the past month? Follow up question, any sense if these evacuations are international in nature and are continuously ongoing in a relatively orderly fashion?

This is nowhere near to being over and many pitfalls remain. But the effort is well under way. I pray that everyone is able to leave safe and sound. Respect to our troops on the ground handling this massive, complex undertaking.

Anyone with even an inkling of foreign policy knowledge knows full well Trump sold out Afghanistan to the Taliban. That's not a liberal or Dem viewpoint, it's just reality.

Hey ********, I read where an AMERICAN infant, 18 months old, was BEATEN to keep the parents back from the fence. This is an absolute clusterfuck by THIS administration. You trying to do damage control and trying to paint us AMERICANS as "unhinged" as we react, in absolute disgust, at how poorly this was planned and executed is unfathomable. We are a laughing stock to world right now and you want us to rejoice in how many have been evacuated, at their expense mind you, in such an orderly and internationally cohesive manner. While it's relieving to see these stranded citizens being evacuated, they shouldn't have been put into this predicament in the first place. He claimed the Taliban would be unable to take over the country before the end of the year, and as usual with every foreign policy decision he has been involved with over his 50 years of sucking on the government tit, he was wrong. He botched this thing worse than an 8-year old using Magic 8-Ball would have.

Sorry Tibs, once again you are just flat out wrong and acting on pure TDS. Trump did not start this war, Trump did his best in a situation that was clearly untenable to try and find a way to pull us out. Bush, OBama and Biden were the ones responsible for this mess. History tells us you can't win there whether you are American or Soviet. Trump was ******* right to try and cut a deal with the inevitable winners to get us out of that **** show. He was trying to do it with minimal loss of life as it was inevitable without committing ourselves to a total and bloody long term full occupation. And he defended the ongoing troop withdrawals, undercutting the Afghan government in its own talks with the Taliban, as the militants besieged provincial capitals.
