Ted Cruz announces he's running for President

Ted Cruz, the Republican Texas senator and unofficial leader of the tea party faction, surprised exactly no one when he announced Monday that he would seek his party's 2016 presidential nomination. He may be a first-term lawmaker and he may have been born in the Canadian city of Calgary — an unusual birthplace for a wannabe American president, even if his eligibility is not seriously in question — but his ambitions have long been clear

A Canadian born right wing president?

Why the hell not.

He doesn't look like a president. As wrong as it is to hold that against him, voters will.

I'm very confused as to what constitutes "Natural Born Citizen." He was born in Canada to American parents....but his parents weren't military. John McCain was born in Panama on a military base. Both parents were American. We know the story behind Obama. So it doesn't matter if you are born in another country, just as long as both parents are American citizens?

The whole Birther thing is going to come back to bite the Repubs in the *** on this one. Hate to say it.

This guy is a tool. I hope we have some other, better candidates.

He's just looking to fold his small base into someone else's run in exchange for a high level cabinet spot.

And Calgary is more like Texas than any other spot in Canada.

He doesn't look presidential enough.

Jeb Bush is the one to focus on. Hard core types might like Scott Walker better, but can he win larger toss up states? I think not.

IMO, Bush would win Florida ( a must have ) and can greatly increase the Latino vote which is key since African American's and single Women will vote Democratic regardless of the character or skills of the Democratic candidate. Republicans need to moderate their stance on Gay rights ( Leave it to the states and the churches / temples ), and sharpen their message to the middle class.

I also think the Jewish vote, which could be key in Florida or New York can be brought in to the Republican tent with the correct message.

Basically yes. I don't think that Bomma was born in Kenya although I might joke about it. However the laws on what constitutes a natural born citizen has changed since He was born in a manger in Hawaii. Yeah I know Bomma's grandmother in Kenya said he was born there but His father fathered so many kids with different women that it would be easy for His grandmother to be confused about who was born where. I'm more concerned about how He and His mother were able to move to Indonesia at a time when passport-holding American citizens were not allowed to travel there.

I don't think so. Rather it takes that argument off the table for the Democrats, as well as Cruz being a first-term Senator.

Bomma is doing a pretty good job of chasing Jewish voters to the Republicans by Himself.

So you're a birther?

There is a lot of smoke on Obama's background. Am I sure either way? NO. But much is left to ponder.

1 ) The certificate number does not match the date of birth. Its 1 ½ weeks later, and should have a much lower number. A red flag

2 ) Obama’s father Barrack Hussien Obama SR, never claimed him as a son on the documents.

3 ) Numerous errors of the print in the document that does not match the machines of the time. See the below link.

4 ) Obama stating his 50th birthday was a week away, yet it actually was a few weeks down the road. Who forgets their birthday, especially their 50th?

5 ) Obama on record calling Kenya his home when he traveled there as a state senator, and mentioned as such in his book. Also stating he was born in Kenya went to Harvard as reported by the interviewer.

6 ) Stanley Dunham ( Who was in the CIA ) wiring a lot of money to his daughter with a Kenya address around the time of Obama’s birth.

7 ) Democratic Party of Hawaii would not certify in 2008 that Obama was constitutionally and legally eligible for the Office of President. Wow.

All the above is true.

Other points to ponder which can be proven true or false

1 ) Obama's social security number was issued by the state of Connecticut. Is this true or false

2 ) The real investigation on Obama's background will happen after Obama leaves office. Why? He won't be able to pardon those who might have participated in forgery.

If you don't like Cruz you are a RACIST!

ha ha - leftist heads are asploding over this - we can now play the race card - his dad was Cuban

Ted won 40% of the latino vote in Texas when he ran for office, Dems are shaking in their boots

He's be the first real conservative in the while house since Reagan.

I believe he is an American citizen because in no way did he come from that Kenyan sheep herder...for one thing there isn't a smidgen of resemblance.

But that was supposed to be the made up narrative, to be the son of a Kenyan whom Obamas mother met in Hawaii.
She probably did meet Obama Sr. in Hawaii, but she also met another guy in Hawaii...Communist activist Frank Marshall Davis, who Obama mentions 21 times in his book as his mentor growing up.
As ugly as sin...this guy more resembles Obama.

If Davis sired the first Communist president, then Obama indeed would be an American citizen.
However, if it were known that Obama was the son of a Communist activist under investigation by the FBI, it may have not made him electable....hence a lie had to be manufactured.

Here our hideous first lady slips up. She knows the fake narrative....that her husband is supposed to be of Kenyan decent, except that she wasn't supposed to say that Barack is from Kenya.

Along with Frank Marshall Davis, Obamas mom, and both her parents were communist activists and sympathizers.

We might never know. But the fact that Obama mentioned Davis so often in his book is rather telling.

Davis began writing for African American newspapers in Chicago, which is where Barrack moved to. He could have set the president to be up with his " political connections "

In 1946 Davis married a white woman named Helen Canfield Peck who was 18 years younger than Davis and they settled in Hawaii. This means Davis was 46, she was 23 when they married. It also means Canfield Peck was still young enough to bear a child by 1961. The couple divorced in 1970.

If Davis was the father, then the mother is also in question.

....racist!

Not because he's part Cuban, because he's funny looking. If you saw him working in a carnival, you might wonder about his heredity.

I don't know what that thought makes me, but it might be worse than racist.

This was the result of the Davis/Canfield marriage, looks like Davis a lot....

Davis was a sex fiend and pornographer....while married to Canfield, Davis in his book talked about them having a sexual affair with an under aged girl named Anne.

Well he wouldn't be much of a black president if he knew who his dad was, now would he?

Seriously though, I wouldn't be surprised if much of Obama's references to being from Kenya was an attempt to ingratiate himself with black activists and sympathizers. I mean what kind of black guy is half white and comes from Hawaii?

WOW. An affair with an under aged Anne. As in Anne Dunham? May I request a link to the book that states that. It's not because I dismiss the comment. I just want it for my own reference.

Agree. Back in '08 I said that the blackest thing about Him was that His dad took off when He was born.

Even Jesse Jackson was caught on tape saying that Bomma didn't have "slave blood" and he would "like to cut his balls off".

Cruz is also fluently bi-lingual and he can do media with Spanish speaking channels and reach out.

Cruz has shown even if it pisses people off he's willing to take a stand against the a liberals. He can make waves..

Cruz, by his own admission is not fluent in spanish and will probably not be doing any platforms for Tele Mundo.
The only thing that will get him any latin votes will be his last name. Happens all the time with mis-informed out of tune voters. Proof is in the whitehouse now.

The Left Goes Berserk: This Is Why Liberals' Heads Are Exploding Over Cruz's Speech

There’s something interesting going on online. Just go to Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ and search for “Ted Cruz,” “#TedCruz2016″ or “Ted Cruz candidate.” Do you notice something?

That’s right, people’s heads are truly exploding.

Many conservative activists are celebrating Cruz’s official announcement that he’ll run for president. They believe he’s just what they and the rest of America need: a principled, small-government conservative who sticks to his guns no matter what...

But why are leftists’ heads exploding as well? I’ve got no doubt I know the answer: they fear him. Tremendously even. He is everything they oppose: a true, small-government conservative. And that’s not all; he’s also articulate, has a spine, and is highly educated. On top of all that, he’s one of the few Republican politicians who are able to energize the conservative base.
