How about instead of just making a generalization, you address each specific point he made one by one? I know you can do that, you sure know how to lay out the specifics when on the attack.
What do I know? I'm just a weak-kneed libtard cowering behind a 50-foot tall, monolithic stone wall that's keeping me safe from hordes of blood-thirsty, brown savages. Seperated by thousands and thousands of miles of open land and sea, what the **** do I know about American politics? And why do I even care? I should just **** off already, I get it.

So I'll let Republican Senator Justin Amash explain what the problem is. Congrats to him for staying on the straight and narrow.

Don't you see how silly you look continuing with these ridiculous claims? People would have a lot more respect for you if you just admitted how incredibly wrong you were. You don't have to support Trump. You don't have to like him. Just please stop trying to pretend that there is anything to this deep, complex Trump-Russia conspiracy you insisted for months was at any moment going to be revealed. Everyone with a brain in their head who is not a total liar knows it isn't true.

Acceptance is often a difficult one to overcome I hear. Well, I see it just about everyday with the lunatics on the left, so never mind, acceptance is a real ***** apparently.

I never said to **** off, or any of that other ****, in my post. I simply asked you to address each specific point he made. Just say so if you can't, it's really not that hard.

Long on rhetoric, short on facts. No wonder you like him.

And exactly how is releasing the Mueller report to the public and declassifying all of the documents related to the witch hunt keeping the truth from the American people? Be specific.

but but....obstruction

Tibs, Congress is not permitted to institute impeachment proceedings "to ensure that the people we have in office are doing the right thing, are of good character, aren't violating the public trust." The House can impeach a President only for "high crimes and misdemeanors." (Section 4, Art. 2, United States Constitution: "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.")

Without credible, clear evidence of a high crime or misdemeanor, an impeachment proceeding is a political event. God, I quake at the thought of America with a Congress that feels it can use impeachment as a political tool, to counteract election results.

Further, you now have a new bedmate. So I guess you agree with Amash on a lot of things, such as:

  • Opposition to abortion and Federal funding of abortion
  • A constitutional amendment requiring a balanced budget
  • Staunch opposition to tax increases
  • A preclusion on the EPA to prevent it from regulating CO2 emissions
  • A repeal of Obamacare

So since Amash is your go-to boy now, I take it you agree with the above positions?

Amash makes some good points, I agree with him wholeheartedly. None of this is inflamatory in my view, just speaking to the Constitution and how the government should operate.

And yet another bash to the face by Lucille. Good stuff, Steeltime.

It’s Trump 2020: Keep America Great!
Different words, same spirit, same message. It's worked thus far, kept the base riled-up, why not take another spin with it? He's been in non-stop campaign mode the past two and a half years, may as well gear down and plow forward. Trump's entire presidency has been one, non-stop election run, rallies with the base in airport hangars, lot's of red hats and shiny pom-poms. Plenty of rah rah cheerleading, mostly by Trump himself. He knows full well if he repeats himself enough times, over and over, his base will fawn over his words and consider them scripture. He wants - needs? - you to believe him, and only him. That's scary, cultish behavior. Is that initself not impeachable? I'd impeach Trump for being a psychopath, that's reason enough for me. Who needs the Mueller report or Pelosi to hold hearings on that?

Yeah, nice hit piece on Amash. Do you disagree with what he's saying about the Mueller report, Trump and impeachment?

Once again. blathering on about nothing with no actual facts needed. Yeah, it's a cult...a cult of people whose actual day to day lives are better now than they were 3 years ago. As much as I find him a repugnant human being in some ways, life is better for me and my family. I didn't vote for him. no, but given the alternatives and what they want to do to this country I probably will have no choice but to vote for him next time. Once again Republican ideas of lower taxes, easing of regulations and a competitive, hospitable business environment as drivers of economic growth proves correct. He didn't invent those ideas but at least he won't stand in their way.

If you can't acknowledge anything good that's happened under his administration you are simply being willfully blind.

You can't. They can't. As Steeltime edumacated you, just because you "think" he's a psychopath, you cannot impeach on those grounds. And as Steeltime said, I too quake at the thought that you and your ilk want to use impeachment as a political tool and go beyond the law. Just...because...you...lost.

"I don't like that his followers are so devoted, therefore we should impeach him."

Scary.

Is it mutually exclusive that the economy is may be doing very well, all the while - on another front - Trump's actions and behavior are deemed to be unfit for the office of President? Since life is good, business is humming, should the President automatically be cloaked and shielded from scrutiny? That's what Burr, McConnell and Graham are doing. As is anyone else who felt compelled to brush the Mueller report aside, having read it or not.

Do you disagree with what is contained in the "hit piece"? It might explain what he is saying to begin with. And you know my opinion of the Mueller Report. It hasn't changed in two years.

Slow your roll Tibs. Amash has interest in his China made tools. He has no interest in the tariffs Trump has imposed, and ultimately will win with China. And Michigan? Not exactly a hotbed of conservative stalwarts wouldn't you say? Always follow the money Tibs.

The impeachment impresario’s 2017 Financial Disclosure Report details the congressman reported between $100,001 and $1,000,000 in income from a company called Michigan Industrial Tools, which in turn is owned by Dynamic Source International, based in China. Dynamic Source International manufactures products overseas and sells them in the United States via Michigan Industrial Tools (MIT).

Not at all. Not because he has devout followers. It's because Trump shows clear signs of being a sociopath as well as an avid, relentless teller of lies. That doesn't pass the muster to hold any office, much less that of President. His transgressions over the past 2-3 years speak for themselves. The Mueller report is damning on many levels, describing his actions and behavior in the run up to the elections and since taking office.

The question is not, and never has been, is Trump simply a criminal. That's a pretty low bar to hold the man in the highest office to.

I'm sure Trump is blown away that got his chance to be President, the dream of a lifetime. What a wild ride it's been for him, hair blowing in the wind, flipping the whole world off.

Scrutiny? Are you actually serious here? The guy is scrutinized 24/7. Remember two scoops of ice cream and well-done steak? JFC, this guy has been scrutinized to death and then some. For you to say something like that, it just boggles the mind.

And that's just the inconsequential bullshit. The full list would be very long.

ooh, ohh.......and he colluded with Russia. Don't forget about that.

Clear signs of being a sociopath? Are you a psychologist? Do you have the slightest idea of what a true sociopath is, or was this fed to you by a liberal rag today?

Trump is a lot of things, and many of them not very flattering, but you're just being ridiculous calling this guy a sociopath. Grow up and get over it already.
