This is police brutality

It's hard to believe this is an actual quote from our president and not something from the Onion.

Okay, I copied and pasted it into a search. May jobs report has exactly what to do with George Floyd? Good God, he says some ridiculously stupid ****.

The charges will also contain "lesser included offenses." The DA thereby charges murder in the 2nd degree and all lesser included offenses (listed in the warrant), including 3rd degree, manslaughter, negligent endangerment, etc.

The supervising cop will get convicted. I think that the two rookies who were under that guy's supervision and who said, "Maybe you should sit him up," "Maybe roll him onto his side so he can breathe" are going to be convicted of no more than 2nd degree manslaughter, a.k.a., negligent homicide...

I'm not sure this is deserved. Sounds like they would've liked to help Floyd and wanted to let him up, but if you think two rookies are going to tell a salty 19 year vet what to do..... they were essentially as powerless as the people on the sidewalk watching, maybe had even less power because they couldn't even speak their mind.

Yeah, I definitely understand what you are saying. It's basically a private with 2 weeks experience telling the Sergeant Major what to do. But reality also checks in. The three cops are already convicted in the media.

I presume the three will have excellent lawyers who try and peel away pre-judgment by prospective jurors but the simple fact is this: The jurors are going to lean incredibly towards conviction and will know that a not-guilty verdict will lead to more riots, burning and looting.

That was absolutely ridiculous. That said, I can't wait to vote for him in November and watch more wall go up and Ginsberg get replace by a judge who rules according to the U.S. Constitution. I don't have a single f*ck to give about what he says or how he says it.

I think we might see the other three turn on the main guy, whose name I don't care to commit to memory.

I was waiting for someone to chime in, because now that it's been established that he says some ridiculously stupid **** (probably been established a hundred times now on this board), here comes the next question; did he say anything hateful, divisive, incendiary or racist?

No.

I've seen a lot of high-ranking elected officials say some really ridiculous things lately, with a lot of hatefulness and divisiveness in their tones and words. Their actions have been deplorable. They've scrapped the don't kill Grandma and must social distance mantra, and you're not allowed to go to church services, and you're not allowed to reopen your business, to "this protest is just too important to worry about Covid-19". C'mon people, you think we're that dumb? This is a coup to overtake not only this President, but overtake the laws and values & the way we govern in this great country.

So let me think for a minute. Vote for that, or vote for Trump, who occasionally says some mind-numbingly stupid ****, but who doesn't want to rip this country apart? Yeah I'm going to have to think pretty hard on that one.

So here is the latest "police brutality" video. The guy is told numerous times to move back, which he fails to listen to. He continues to approach the officers. Then, after a brief discussion he reaches towards the right hip of the officer on the right. 90% of police and citizens carry their firearm on their right hip if they are right handed. So the officer in front of the guy shoves him backwards. Here is a screen shot of the guy reaching for the hip of the officer:

Edit: never mind on the pic, I cannot get the jpg to upload correctly from my computer for some reason. I select the file, select upload, it shows it as uploaded but gives a broken link to the file? Can anyone help a brother out?View attachment 4647

Not always does the adage "with age comes wisdom" hold true.

For the 8 years prior to Trump we had a silver-tongued devil who attacked conservative voters. He referred to conservative voters (nearly half the country) as "the enemy", referred to white PA voters as 'gun clingers' and 'bible cluthchers', 'too stupid to understand what he was trying to explain'......, the list goes on.

Trump attacks America's true enemy, the media. He attacks his political opponents. But he never attacks liberal voters or minority voters. In fact, he reaches out to minority, specifically black, voters in a way that no other conservative politician has. The way Obama never reached out to white conservatives.

National Guard in Washington D.C. are told NOT to carry guns or ammunition by Defense Secretary Mark Esper as he orders all active-duty troops out of the capital

The Pentagon has told Washington D.C.'s National Guard and guardsmen from other states who have are in the nation’s capital not to use guns or ammunition.

The order came from Defense Secretary Mark Esper and made without consulting the White House, The Washington Post reported, and it's seen as a sign of de-escalation of the federal response to protests that sprung up in the wake of George Floyd's death.

Trump needs to fire Esper immediately.

Talk about mind-numbingly ridiculous:

Update - they suspended the two officers involved, which is ridiculous, so the entire 57 man Buffalo police squad resigned. https://concealednation.org/2020/06...o-of-their-members-after-yesterdays-incident/

Holy ****, the Left aren't the only ones who are ridiculous right now:

A group of angry white people surrounding and physically assaulting a black man. Where have I heard of this before?

The police order as a nation (at least in those cities) needs to hold a massive strike. Your want to cut our funding, you want create “another” oversight committee, you want us to be slane by mobs and speak I’ll of us. **** you governor. **** your city.

Walk out. Then the act will be initiated because of your failure to protect those that protect us.

Here's an example of police brutality (I don't care how many takes it took, this is fantastic):

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Police Officer called Game! &#55358;&#56600;&#55356;&#57339;&#55357;&#56490;&#55357;&#56613;&#55356;&#57280;&#55357;&#56860; <a href="https://t.co/99vYyVUcPn">pic.twitter.com/99vYyVUcPn</a></p>— Fred Schultz (@fred035schultz) <a href="https://twitter.com/fred035schultz/status/1268869392080809990?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 5, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I think we're going to see mass police early retirement in democrat run cities. Just look at Baltimore after their riots, Cops quit and they couldn't find replacements, crime increased big time hurting the black community most and 10% of the population ended up leaving.

Thankless job, **** pay, and may not come home home to your family. I’m proud to be a household of blue, even tho I’m not.

******* dims. Let me take your guns, let me remove your police. Alright good luck. Fucksake.

Yeah, you and the other white middle aged male ardent Trump supporters don't care. Unfortunately he needs more than you to win. He's basically ****** himself with blacks, Hispanics, suburban women, the elderly. Approval rating in the 30s now.

Just hope he doesn't take the Senate down with him.

OFTB, is it possible Trump's remarks on George Floyd were taken out of context? This video below shows him talking about equality/equal treatment under the law and that George would be happy about that.

Can't play that video but watched it live and my impression was he was saying it's a great day for George Floyd because of the job numbers. Hard to know exactly what he meant because of the way he rambles and jumps from one topic to another.

But does it matter? Is there any context in which today was a great great day for George Floyd?
