Saw that earlier today. It's ironic that they would be kneeling in protest of institutional racism, considering they are the institution. Most of them have been there decades and have done nothing to improve the lives of black people, but NOW they are gonna REALLY do something. Yeah, this is pandering, plain and simple.

Can I ask African-Americans to take a knee before me, a white male, due to the patent disparity in interracial killings? Would anybody be offended by that, and think it incredibly bad taste for one race to ask another to literally bow on the basis of race?

Then perhaps this taking a knee **** due to race needs to stop NOW.

The minute anything bad happens, especially visceral or emotionally charged or caught on video; by God, we better pass a whole bunch of new laws to make it look like we're doing something. No analysis about long-term ramifications. No discussion about whether or not what they propose is even possible. No discussion about whether or not their laws are Constitutional. No discussion about what happened when this was tried before (and likely failed).

And the more we advance into the digital age. The age of social media and constant "travesty of the day" news cycles. The more democrats pander and jump from position to position and govern the way the wind blows.

I watched this video last night and could feel her embarrassment to be used like this from old, white, career politicans. Everything they vilify Trump for(photo OPs), they go two steps beyond, but don't see anything wrong with it. How long before they perform a rap song to show how down they are with African Americans?

Well, Joe Biden's "you ain't black enough" comment was demeaning, but many said "that's not was said" or "that's not what he meant" and gave him a pass. They can wear their blue glasses, but don't expect others that have watched a public beatdown of the current president to sit back and let them spew their garbage without being called out.

To the police officers out there - it looks like banning choke holds is a popular topic. How will that affect restraint techniques? Sometimes these things backfire but I am not familiar with the techniques used by the police to restrain someone resisting.
