Giants are having their way with the 'skins D, but their D just get SCREWED!

Pass down the seam for Washington, the TE DUCKS HIS HEAD INTO two defenders, neither lead with the helmet, but contact with the helmets are made. TE loses the ball, flag thrown. They call hitting a defenseless receiver.

Watching the replay however you can see a CLEAR catch, receiver not only has full control of the ball, but he braces for the hit, and I repeat lowers HIS head into the defenders... horrible call, or should I say horrible rule!

Luckily the Giants strip the ball two plays later. Still horrible!

Just another way to try and alter the out come of the game. Sometimes, TEAMS are good enough to over come the fix, thus making the perception of the fix, lesser.

Yep, just pathetic. And later on, those refs and every talking head apologist of these ****** up rule changes, will meekly murmur, "mmmwell, in real time it looked bad so....sorry"

Yeah **** your "real time" bullshit

Yeah that call was bullshit. On the bright side though, I started Donnell in fantasy

Sorry dude, but the birth of Fantasy Football was the beginning of the end for football in it's real form. Us true, football purist / old school / snot knocking hits / REAL football fans, despise FF. Not blaming you or anyone else, just bringing it to attention. The owners identified their demographics and determined that's the route they wanted to go. Rules changes for the stats guys favorites and WhoaLa, this is the football you get. Remember FF is a gambling based game. Its all about the money.

I totally agree. If I could trade fantasy football for the old days of hard hitting that rewarded defenses, i would

I'm hearing yaz man, enjoy the FF ride. I don't participate and always want my friend's FF team to win. Just airing a little.

I've played fantasy football since High School. There is absolutely no reason you can't enjoy both. Fantasy football has influenced the league but that's the NFL's fault, not fantasy players.

For me, all this easy passing makes fantasy football WORSE not better. Why? Because now with so many statistically good QBs, WRs and TEs, there isn;t as much strategy. Novice players can draft a strong team so long as they go by some sort of widely available cheatsheet.

Used to be there were 3 or 4 QB that were great and gave you an advantage. Then about 5 that were good and you could win your league with them so long as your other players were good. Then there were the rest and if you didn't have one of the top 8 or 9 QBs, then you had to have awesome RBs and WRs or pull off a trade.

Now you can pick up a 4000 yard passer in round 10 and startable WRs are available to the last round. There's nowhere near as much strategy as there used to be. It's like playing poker with somebody who wants 3s and 9s to be wild so now there's basically 12 aces in the deck instead of 4 and nobody has a ****** hand.

Redskins back to their typical redskins selves. Thought theyd give a better showing than this

Did you read the part of my post that said "not blaming you or anybody else"? It is just the way it is, FF is the birth of the NFL failure of the REAL football as we knew it. Of coarse the rules are making FF harder, it gets more people involved and the stakes become higher. It is a gambling based entertainment and the NFL is the piece of the puzzled needed. It dictates the rules, which are influenced greatly by FF. It is what it is, as the owners identified it as their future money maker. Everyone involved with FF, watches the game(s) their players are on. Exposure is greater, TV contracts bigger, well you get the drift. SMART owners!!!

45-14? lmao. I hate living in Foreskins country, cannot wait for the Snyder bashing that is about to happen on sports radio.

Fair to say that Kirk Cousins is at best a backup.. He is terrible under pressure and compounds his mistakes...

Unfortunately, RGIII has the legs of a stick figure

Another scintillating, nail biting, amazingly close and well played Thursday night game. Thanks, NFL!!

I thought the home team won all the Thursday night games.

The more glaring fact.. one team gives a crap while the other mails it in. The average score (so far) on these "tilts" is 40-12. Compelling!! Thursday night football this early is crap and it shouldn't be all season long. The mighty $ dictating again.

So the Steelers mailed it in?

AAAaaaand....that should still have been a live ball. One of the G'ints shoulda picked it up, leaped the TE's unconscious form and returned it for 6.

He's been Eli's security blanket. Therefore Cruz is killing me.

Redskins back to their typical redskins selves. Thought theyd give a better showing than this

I didn't. Their secondary was banged up and they were starting a bu at qb.All the TH's besides Cowher picked the Skins BIG. WTG Coach! Cousins had one good game and everyone was hanging on his sack.

So the Steelers mailed it in?

Yop.....
