Tomlin Sucks

We are not talking about a political environment and you're the idiot who posted that Tomlin hip hop headline from 12 years ago

Without exception, the Tomlin haters here are clueless self pleasuring dumbshits. The constant ***** asss whining and complaining and heaping blame on the HC is tiresome.

Tomlin gets all the blame and none of the credit from you fagg*ts. You sopping wet vaginas..

Go Fk Yourselves
Man you're back again? You literally are like a bad case of football herpes. Wait.......who's that calling from the HOUSE? I think Mike is calling for you to come over, he needs his balls washed.

so Tomlin does NOT suck. He would be the number 1 choice of multiple teams in a second if fired. Lets hope he gets the chance.

He does not suck, but he is not good enough for here. he needs to have a chance elsewhere.

His message is stale. his gameplans do not change no matter who the opponents are. he just isnt good enough to be coach of the Steelers.
So he sucks haha, bad fit, was never used properly

If he’s the number one choice of ANY teams we should be on the phone and getting some draft capital for his stale, predictable, not good enough a$$

Heck they can have him tomorrow

Let AS finish out as HC and see what Austin can do without Mikey in his ear. Or just promote Bubbles to interim just to see the look on DICs face 🤣

On today's broadcast JJ said there have been grumblings in town about Tomlin, and that basically fans are stupid and don't know how lucky they are to have a guy that can win 10 games a year.
Players are always going to side with a guy who coddles and comforts them. What current or ex players say has no bearing on the reality of achieving goals. Their goal is getting "the bag" as they say and if you win a Super Bowl or don't, so what? I'm sure some have a competitive fire that drives them to win it all. If you have a cursory understanding of human nature though you will understand that for most comfort is what they fall into no matter how many times the head guy says "We don't seek comfort." You don't have to seek it...you have been wallowing in it for a long time.

Comfort breeds complacency...and complacency produces mediocrity.

And where are we ?

I would trade him for 2 1sts to any team in the league

I've lost track of the historically bad stats the Steelers have achieved under Tomlin, but here is another.

Matt Williamson
@WilliamsonNFL

The #Steelers have three consecutive losses by 14+ more points for the first time since Weeks 5-7 of 1988.

Delving into the incompetence of Tomlin is like peeling an onion, only when one layer is removed, another is added to be peeled later.

Last year, weren't the Steelers the first team in league history to lose consecutive home games to teams with 10+ losses?

Good that *** hat has gotten filthy rich off of nothing but bullshit talking points. All he can do is spit out useless cliches. In three games we went from a two game lead with four games to go to a wild card team with one game to go and some people are ok with that because we have another non losing season under our belt. I love this damn team but I have about come to my end of watching this **** show.

I went to my sons for Christmas dinner today, we NEVER miss watching a game together, Today he was yelling hey dad the game is about to start when I said yeah I'm busy with Colt Man, (my 5 year old grandson) missed all but the last 30 seconds of the first QTR and couldn't have cared less.

I really am starting to feel like we are turning into a factory of sadness. Looking forward to watching the Lions beat the Bills in the SB.
I hear you, man.

First off, we didn't even watch the game live because of Netflix. Watched the repeat on NFL Network at my dad's with my two sons. After Tomlin punted it away on 4th-and-2 with 6 minutes left in the game, we decided that we'd seen enough, and the four of us went downstairs to play shuffleboard. Much more enjoyable.

I'm a diehard Steelers fan, but it's starting to matter less and less to me in the grand scheme of things.

I don't think it's the Rooney Rule one way or the other. There are positives to not firing and hiring coaches all the time, but there are negatives to keeping one for a long period, too. Tomlin and Rooney are probably close. The families probably know each other well. Tomlin and his wife are ingrained in the community. From all accounts he is a good man. Tomlin is also probably great for most of these young men outside of football. That is what makes it hard to fire the guy. We get all pissed after watching the train wreck we saw yesterday and will fire everybody. Until one of us would actually have to do it. Then the human element comes into play.
Human element or not, Tomlin doesn't deserve to have the job, period. 10 years of proof is too long.

McCarthy is in his 18th year as HC. (GB and Dal). He’s 11-11 in the playoffs…..174 total wins 110 losses.
5 losing seasons.
Tomlin in his 18th year as HC. He’s 10-8 in the playoffs…he’s 183 -105 W/L.
0 losing seasons!
Tomlin is 8-10 in the playoffs, not 10-8.

The Rooneys are on record admitting how hard it is to fire/hire new coaches even on the assistant level. Even coordinators are hard to fire/hire for the Rooneys, they have admitted that. It's one reason we have only had 3 coaches since the 70s. That's over 50 years. And, yes, the media celebrates the long tenure of each coach, but it's overkill on that front. Can they bring it up more often? Art has come out and said how difficult it is to hire new coaches, it's like a job he doesn't want. He speaks on having to to help relocate a new guy and his family. He doesn't look forward to it.

So they are letting personal feelings creep into a decision that affects the performance of the team. Just great.

Now I see how they got completely bamboozled by Tomlin when they hired him. Because they sure as heck didn't look at his coaching resume.

Sounds like they will never have the kahuna's to tell him its time to move on.

As long as the bar is set low to non losing seasons and back into the playoffs and oh boy, anything can happen now, nothing will change.
Art unlike his father is not a true passionate football man. He’s a lawyer and businessman who inherited the family business and really filling the seats and keeping interest throughout the season is first and foremost.
Rooney is more enamored with perception and on how the organization is perceived rather than going for broke setting his sights on the ultimate prize.
If he were the later he would recognize the formula is bad and needs changed after this season.
Changes he would make if he were serious about winning championships.
Move on from the Kahn Artist. He’s not who I thought he was. Great at working the cap but that’s where it ends.
Promote Andy Weidel to GM immediately otherwise he will most likely be gone. He knows how to build a franchise and Kahn does not.
Explore trading Tomlin who with three years on his contract and what the perception of him is around the league, should be able to get a great return.
I’d be looking at as many premium picks in 25 and 26 as possible. Then draft a franchise QB in one of those drafts.
I would look for a young innovative HC. Ben Johnson in Detroit and Bobby Slowik in Houston. Interview and hire the best one and allow them to pick their staff.
It’s a rebuilding period like it or not. Recognize it and get on with it. The fans will understand.
Painful decisions need to be made so I’m shopping Minkah for the best return possible and I’m shopping TJ for premium picks. TJ deserves a shot to play for a legit playoff caliber team. Sorry to see him go but if the return renders more first even in the future, do it.
Cut bait with Russ Wilson. No value there. Sign Justin for three years to be your bridge QB until you can draft your guy.
Let guys like Najee, Dan Moore, all receivers not named Pickens and Austin move on.
Be proactive in FA with a number 2 WR.
Sign Big George, extend Warren and Cal Austin.
Draft a RB that can ******* recognize a hole, have burst and not be a prodder.
Andy works hand and hand with his new HC to draft and sign players conducive to what coache’s system calls for.
Not this bs of drafting guys and try to force them into a system they may not be comfortable with.
Next, don’t play these guys out of position. If the guy made his bones as a LT in college, then that’s his position now.
This can be fixed but first the owner must recognize they are further away from contending than closer. We are not a piece here and a piece there from contending. Jeez! Y’all should know that after seeing what happened the last three weeks.

i've asked it before and i'll ask it again...

if we replace Tomlin, and I have no issue with doing that, who do you replace him with? can't just fire a guy and then hope the interview process goes perfectly.

however, if we could use a crystal ball, and know who we could interview and how things would go, I'd be very very very interested in Ben Johnson of Detroit.

There are always capable coaches out there. It's just a matter of finding the right one.

Noone really knew who Tomlin was before the Steelers interviewed him. The same for Cowher.

Ben Johnson will be a HC somewhere next year. It definitely won't be with the Steelers though.

I get rid of Austin as well. The fascination with midgets who get lost in the wash no matter how fast they are needs to end.

It depends how bad it gets. There are conditions that will just be too much for the Rooneys to deal with. We saw it last year with Canada. When the situation got so bad that Pen fans were cheering to fire Canada at Pens games, it just got to be too much to ignore.

I’d leap at a first or a 2nd and a 3rd
Seriously the price wouldn’t even need to be that
But I’d leap for either of those deals

Leaping…………….

1st & 3rd, would be instant Leap

2nd & 3rd, would be instant leap

2nd & 4th, would be instant Leap

2-3rds, would be instant Leap

3rd & 4th, would be instant hop

Hops from here on out

Salute the nation

From the college game----I would consider Lane Kniffin or Brian Kelly...

But Coach T ain’t goin nowhere soon..

In reality, I'd move him for free, but since someone will pay, I'll take whatever the offer is. He is a fraud.

They will react to the fan base. Once the fans have had their fill, and let it be known, Rooneys will react.
