Trump never said anything remotely like this.

But he certainly toes the line. And that's unacceptable for anyone in good standing in society and is certainly a disqualifying measure for a presidential candidate -- past, present and future.

Does that answer your question?
Yes and no. It does help explain how Trump supporters are able to look the other way and not come to terms with what Trump is truly about.

No, his remarks do not "toe the line" with respect to genocide, murder, sterilization, etc. His remarks about genetics playing a significant role in his intelligence are not disturbing, unless you find science disturbing.

Researchers have previously shown that a person’s IQ is highly influenced by genetic factors, and have even identified certain genes that play a role. They’ve also shown that performance in school has genetic factors.

Yeah, maybe. But the bigger point is that Trump's comments cannot rightfully be construed as adopting Hitler's views on racial superiority, a "super race," breeding, and genocide.

Fair enough steeltime, kudos to you for working through this convo. I think he's very close to toeing the line, you do not. I feel the combination of his sense of entitlement, narcissism and notion of 'genetic superiority' are a dangerous brew, you do not. I won't continue to push this angle, everyone can draw their own conclusions. Again, thank you for a civilized conversation on the subject.

Steeltime, this is what I mean by toeing the line. In your view is this acceptable behavior by a presidential candidate? In America? In 2016?

Of course the response is ''he was only joking." That's always the response. Be it when he talks about rounding up illegals and deporting them, banning Muslims from entering the country et al. I'm sorry, when you're running for the highest office in the most powerful country on earth, I fail to see the humor.

Trump singles out and shames non-Christians at rally—asks crowd what to do with 'them'

As someone with a Christian faith who often fails, I must say Trump supporters who call themselves Christians send my cringe factor up the ******* Richter scale and over. But then, when you have a leader posing as a Christian to get votes, you will find sheep who can be just as dangerous as their leader. How dangerous? Something happened on Wednesday that puts Trump on an even more frightening plane. During a rally on in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump revealed his true menacing potential to the world when he said:

“We have our Christian conservatives for Trump today. And they’re in the room. Let’s go. That’s what we want. That’s beautiful,” Trump told the cheering crowd. “Raise your hand if you’re not a Christian conservative. I want to see this. Right,” he said, according to Time.

After spotting a few people with their hands up, Trump asked,

"That is a couple of people.” “That’s alright. I think we’ll keep them, right? Shall we keep them in the room? I think so.”

He didn’t just say it at one rally. It wasn’t a slip. He also tried to point out and shame non-Christians in Waukesha, Wisconsin on the same day. What if the crowd had turned on the non-Christians? How many people in the audience were afraid to raise their hands?

No problem, my man.

Does anyone really think a Hildabeast administration would be anything but a huge failure. She is incompetent, hated, evil and has no idea or ability to inspire and lead. Her POS husband was saved by Newt Gingrich after he lost both houses in 1994 and he sucked dick and let Newt take over the government balancing the budget, curtailed welfare, etc. Hildabeast is too stupid and too much an ideologue like the moron in the White House right now. She will be hated by most of the country and lacks the charisma, smarts and skills to unite. The good thing is the ***** will be dead on less than 2 years, she is very ill.

I don't see that as shaming non-Christians, he's basically saying in his typical incredibly clumsy way "We include everyone, Christians and non-Christians are all welcome.". Now I will say I find it ridiculous that he has strong appeal with Christians being a twice divorced philanderer who has flip-flopped on major social issues repeatedly...but I certainly don't think he has anything whatsoever against non-Christians. I actually don't think he gives a whit about religion at all.

As far as his comments on genes I find them nothing more than total egomania...he's not saying his race is superior, he's talking about his own immediate family. He was born on third base and hit a home run and he thinks he personally is really something special. Yeah, it's icky in its own way but nothing like Hitler.

There are plenty of reasonable rational things not to like about Trump without exaggerating and making stuff up. This kind of thing only fuels the "He's being treated unfairly" narrative of his supporters.

Now that at that has been settled, I thought the new poll results were due out Thurs. What happened, who won the debate ? Remember...all that hype we heard right after the debate about she won..no, he won, wait for the polls to come out Wednesday.. blah blah blah.

I didn't find what he said about Non- Christians offensive either. Then again, I'm not a liberal, whiny-assed panty waist of a human.

Trump needs to get off twitter and get back on message....FAST.

That and be prepared for the 2nd debate. If he doesn't hammer Hillary on her shortcomings during the debate this time, he might be done for.

Libtard gets electrocuted trying to steal Trump yard sign.

I LOVE these things. And I hope each and every person caught doing this is charged with trespassing and theft.

It's getting harder and harder for me to pull the lever for Trump (TIBS would be proud of me!).

He's got her beat if he just stays on message and acts rationally but if he can't do it with 30 days left in the election he never will be able to do it and I am finding it harder and harder for my conscience to vote for him.

This isn't the year folks..... an independent came and went and we were SO CLOSE from getting out of the cycle of fat cat republican and democrat rule and possibly re-establishing the branches of power in our government but it's not going to happen. Clinton is going to win.

For all we hear, the bottom line is Trump isn't going to close the deal. He's crumbling under the pressure.

God I want a real conservative that isn't religious in my lifetime........

Damn, that took a loooong time, but good to see you coming to your senses. I too wouldn't mind a 'real conservative that isn't religious in my lifetime...' but I don't know if such a thing exists anymore.

Hilary won but only because she did better later. Trump won the first half of the debate but lost his composure as the debate went on... and apparently still has yet to regain it.
