Trump - Make America Great Again!

If they mean nothing, why not release them?

How do you know he follows the tax code? Release the returns and put that to rest. Easy does it.

He has been audited for countless years in a row. I believe that is how I and everyone with half a brain knows he has been following the tax code. Plus, the IRS has been proven to be an arm of the Dem party under Obama. They are as corrupt as can be. If they didn't find anything, then he is clean as a whistle.

Avoiding taxes is what the rich have been doing for decades. The difference between heads of industry and politicians, is politicians know their tax records are going to come out. Due to this, they not only pay taxes, but some even pay more than they are supposed to. This creates a strong stance of saying the government needs taxes to run the government, and they are doing more than their fair share to help the government operate.

By Trump not paying taxes, in a political view, he is now passing off the millions he should have paid in taxes to the middle/lower class. I can understand why taxpayers would be very upset over this since 1/3 of their income goes to the government without a chance to deduct anything.

Is anyone even discussing the Fox News poll that has Trump behind Clinton?

Before it can be spun by saying, "Fox News is saying it to galvanize the republican base to vote" they did the exact same thing when Mit ran. And it was reported that way not because they were rallying a voting base, they reported the poll because it was correct.

Who pays attention to polls? Like that tells you anything.

I have, and still do, fully expect Clinton to win. Trump was never gonna win. It has been a fun ride, but the experiment that is the United States is over.

Well that's nice to know. Idiot-in-chief strikes again...

Trump Suggests That Soldiers Who Suffer From PTSD Aren’t “Strong”
https://www.buzzfeed.com/emaoconnor/trump-ptsd?bffbmain&ref=bffbmain&utm_term=.ctvq5mW5r#.htbO3bW3N

Donald Trump on Monday suggested to a room full of veterans that soldiers who return from war suffering from PTSD are not “strong” and “can’t handle it.”

The GOP presidential candidate’s statement came during a Q&A at the Retired American Warriors Pac. Some of the questions were about the suicide epidemic in the military and criticism of the Veterans Administration (VA) for falling short on providing veterans with the mental health treatment they need.

After saying there are around 22 veteran suicides a day, Trump explained to the room of veterans what PTSD was.

“When people come back from war and combat and they see maybe what the people in this room have seen many times over, and you’re strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can’t handle it,” Trump said.

There was a silence in the room after his statement, and people on social media were quick to express anger toward his comments.

Following a request for response to Trump’s statements, the Camp Hope PTSD Foundation emailed BuzzFeed a screenshot of the below tweet, tweeted after Trump’s statement.

Trump obtained four deferments from the draft into the Vietnam war before being medically disqualified from serving in the military in 1968.

Sadly that's exactly how I feel. Just trying to get my family set up as well as we possibly can financially before it all comes crumbling down.

That's what we've been hearing non-stop for the past eight years with Obama, that everything's going to hell, nothing will be left of country but burning embers and ash. Ah, I see, it will happen now that Hillary is the president. Got it.

Nope. It is the trajectory of the nation over the last 20 plus years. Have you been to America lately?

And Trump would have reversed said trajectory? In what way?

I'm sorry, do we want a rich guy for President or someone who is not rich? I'm confused now.

There is no telling if he would or he wouldn't. We will likely never know. That said, I am pretty sure we will continue that slow painful decline with Hillary at the helm.

Biggest problem is that it isn't just the President. It is the congress and supremes. They have done as much if not more to mess this country that any president. We as a nation are in an unrecoverable tail spin. We will continue to slowly decline until we become Greece.

Unless we elect someone who will lower taxes, enforce our immigration laws, improve commercial trade to create jobs, stop giving away billions of dollars to other countries, rebuild our infrastructure and strengthen our military. Gee, who could that be?

Iraq Veterans Unleash on Trump After He Calls Them Weak
http://usuncut.com/news/iraq-veterans-unleash-trump/

At a campaign event in Virginia, Donald Trump implied that veterans that suffer from combat-related PTSD were not “strong” compared to vets who do not.

“When you talk about the mental health problems,” Trump said, “when people come back from war and combat and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in the room have seen many times over and you’re strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can’t handle it.”

PJ Reikoff, CEO of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, responded in an eloquent series of tweets about how labelling metal health issues as weakness only increases the suffering of those afflicted, comparing Trump’s comments to a response to a similar question from Obama.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Yeah, this part is not helpful. This is just the latest in a series of offensive comments Trump has made towards veterans over the course of his campaign. He has also engaged in a weeklong feud with the parents of a fallen vet, mocked war vet John McCain by saying “I like people who weren’t captured,” and failed to pay out the promised funds after holding fundraisers for vets

Due to the stigmatization of mental health issues, exact numbers are difficult to pin down, but it is estimated that between 11-20% of American veterans suffer from some form of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Tibs, it's going to take a long time. There is still a lot of wealth to go through, but it is happening and will happen. We are some of the lucky ones. We are upper middle class. Still it becomes discouraging as wages have stagnated, the taxes we pay are incredible. We have two kids going to college in a year and a half and due to the ridiculous tuition driven by a flood of government aid to other people, we won't be able to afford it, despite sacrificing and saving a hefty amount. Yet we hear constantly we're not doing enough. Now we're supposed to pay for everyone else's kids to go to college for free, as well as their daycare and their health insurance premiums. We pay 12,000/year with an 11,000 deductible for this "affordable" healthcare that many get for free. We have not saved nearly enough for retirement and will probably be working til we die while we fund the pensions of millions of government employees for the rest of their lives. We are subsidizing everyone and everything and sometimes it feels like we should just stop being the suckers, quit working and trying so hard and let the government take care of us too.

How long will it be before many more people get to that point? That's how a country declines. If you think everything's just rolling merrily along I think you are deluding yourself. And again, I can't even complain, we are some of the lucky ones, because we can still pay our bills and aren't a week or two away from utter financial disaster. There are so many people teetering on the edge of ruin because our government won't get out of the way of the economy and allow it to grow and prosper and wages to rise. Our government has convinced people it is the solution when it is actually the problem.

Now people are screaming that Trump deducted losses so that's the next big hit coming to business and industry. Everything they can do to make it more difficult and expensive to grow a business, they will do. More and more money into the government, less and less into the economy, all in the name of "fairness". It's insanity, the definition of cutting off your nose to spite your face, this anti-business drumbeat.

And Trump would have reversed said trajectory? In what way?

Nope, he's not better. Proposing massive new government spending. He is not a small-government conservative. He is not explaining to people why tax laws are favorable to business and investment and why the worst thing we could do right now is make them less favorable. His biggest dumbest idea is destroying free trade.

So yeah, either way we're going down. But I've said from the beginning Trump can't win based on demographics, and he's now fallen into every single sexism racism class warfare trap that will hurt him in this regard. Just like Romney times 1000.

Well oneforthebus where things are heading we'll have ourselves another nice little world war and that'll help sort things out. It always does.

Im more worried about about a civil war since you fools on the left and right are overpolarizing everything....

Reading that bullshit about Trump supposedly calling veterans weak is just that, bullshit. Look at his statement and see how loony libtards twisted it into a criticism of PTSD vets. That is beyond laughable.

If you get PTSD, you can't handle it. That is a fact. Others can. He didn't call them losers or weak or anything of the sort. He stated the fact that they couldn't handle it. Why they couldn't handle it is the question and the one the media and the stupid libtards seem all too willing to put words in Trumps mouth for.

All gloves are off at this point. I wouldn't be surprised to see a story about Trumps black love child pop up soon. Oh, wait. ....too late. Slick Willie took that bullet.
