You do understand that when Trump gets 35% of the republican vote, that equates to 17% of the national vote.

Wait until after the conventions and you see the ads run against him. He will be tar and feathered using his own words.

4 million republican base voters stayed home for Romney. The truth of the matter is Trump has great support from likely voters and is doing far better with minority voters than the media cares to admit.

The man is bulletproof to his own gaffes, but can throw a knockout political punch. It will be open season on Clinton in due time.

With so many scandals, lies, political flip-flops, and past statements and votes on record, Trump will have an absolute field day.

Trump runs his first political ad and shows the wall he is going to build between the United States and Mexico, the only problem is
the view of the border where he is going to build the wall shown in the ad is the Moroccan border and not the US border. When notified
of the blunder Trump said what is the difference. A high school kid would get an F on any project with a blunder of that nature.
We can't afford to have a high school flunky as our President. He has know attention to detail and obviously doesn't delegate responsibility
to competent individuals.

Winning an election is not about polls which trump is doing, it's about getting people to vote for you. Politicians who draw larger crowds to listen to them speak almost always win. I never saw a study on it though.

aside from that, IF such a wall got built, it would be to keep out the very type of people in that ad.

There was a report that came out this week that showed more Mexicans have returned home in last several years
than are coming here. If a wall is built we would also be locking in those that would like to go home.

I'm not sure how inviting 20K people to a 1.4K theater event gains you votes. If I was one of the 18.6K that couldn't
get in on a cold Vermont night, I'd be pretty pissed and surely not voting for someone that pulled that stunt on me.

I have a hard time believing you are a real person times. I think you're a mod just trying to get people riled up. The reports was just about Mexicans? What about those from the ME and Central America? What about overstayed visas? BTW nobody knows for sure how many are here and they have no idea how many come every year. So the entire report is just political spin.

I read this, and I can't wait for attack ad season to start. All those dumbass quotes of his are gonna get wrapped around his neck until his head turns from orange to blue.

Polls aren't votes, and the real campaign doesn't begin until the bullets start flying. I give Trump two months before he either bows out, or goes rogue and starts his independent campaign. The Republican party will never nominate someone who's THAT VULNERABLE in a national election.

Obama said on Thursday that he will not campaign for Democrats who don't back gun reforms, part of his effort to make tougher gun laws a cause in the November 2016 presidential and congressional elections.

"I will not campaign for, vote for or support any candidate, even in my own party, who does not support common-sense gun reform," Obama wrote in an op-ed column in the New York Times.

Vermont is a liberal state. What GOP person could draw this type of crowd?

I have a theory. The mainstream media and political correctness have diminished Republicans from voting and speaking like they can in addition to offering slanted news

Trump smashes this type of unfair treatment. He's a real game changer in this department. Past GOP candidates for president would have let the media tear them down with a gaffe. Gaffes make Trump's sometimes even stronger.

Why? He has a real larger than life presence, and leadership skills.
