Donald Trump Says He Wants Supreme Court To Overturn Same-Sex Marriage

Trump isn't happy with the Supreme Court's ruling on same-sex marriage and would nominate justices to overturn it.

"I would have much preferred that they ruled at a state level and let the states make those rulings themselves"

How does Chief Justice Ted Cruz sound?

10. Trump once weighed in on Kim Davis:

The GOP frontrunner said that the Kentucky clerk should not have been jailed, but same-sex marriage is the law. "You have to go with it. The decision's been made, and that is the law of the land."

Bonus – 11.

Surprisingly, he offered this support for amending the Civil Rights Act back in 2000, before flip-flopping eleven years later:

"Amending the Civil Rights Act would grant the same protection to gay people that we give to other Americans—it's only fair," he said. He's since changed his mind, and now opposes being fair.

One thing about populists: they always go where the wind blows. Trump doesn't believe in anything. That much should be clear by now.

NO politician believes in anything. They only pretend to so they can get funded from the current group they are pandering to. **** 'em all. At least Trump doesn't need the money and doesn't have to tell every single group what they want to hear so he can get paid.

Oh you're wrong. For instance, Hillary believes fully in women's rights, except when women rape her husband, or when her rapist legal clients are involved.

A Democrat Explains Why She’s Voting For Donald Trump

She once voted for Hillary Clinton, but now she's supporting Donald Trump.

Rebecca Thoeni says the real estate mogul and presidential candidate is speaking truths no other politician -- of either party -- is offering right now. And it is his uncharacteristic bluster that made her bolt the Democrats in favor of the Grand Old Party.

"He's down to earth and seems to have a lot of common sense, which is lacking. I just like him. I think he really stirred the people up," said Thoeni, who huddled with approximately 800 other people at an outdoor Trump rally on Saturday, a chilly winter day in January. The venue was none other than a hangar at the Dubuque airport, the classiest of locations, if only because it provided the best view of Trump's arrival in a Boeing 757 jet emblazoned with his name.

"I like how he wants to take back our country. That's the main thing; it's our country. And the respect. We're getting screwed over," she added.

You are just wrong here. Trump stated that he would prefer the Supreme Court to stay out of matters such as marriage, since those principles belong to the states. I don't think that the residents of Manhattan have any business of telling the residents of Tupelo how to live - and vice versa.

On the other hand, I don't believe that public officials are free to ignore the law when it suits their personal beliefs.

Those two positions are 100% consistent.

Instead of free college education, why don't we make our High Schools universally good enough
that those graduating are qualified to get a job. 13 years of school should be good enough to get
a decent job and if you want more school, that is your option.

Because the teachers' unions won't have it.

That is a lucid, intelligent, well thought-out idea. Overruled!

Well, this might be the brightest thing I have ever seen you post. The only thing I might change is that 12 years of school should be good enough. I'm part of what I think is the last generation that wasn't mandatorily sent to Kindergarten (I'm 51). It was said that kids needed Kindergarten or they would fall behind. Kindergarten was mandated and....well, results speak for themselves. Now we are told that Pre-K should be mandatory.

From what I have seen of Pre-K and Kindergarten it isn't much more than free day care. I tried to sign one of my kids up for public school pre-k years ago and was told that, if enough people with lower income applied afterwards, we would have to make alternative plans. That told me that day care is all it was.

In any event, I agree completely with your post. Stop teaching to test. Stop teaching common core. Teach the things we were taught 30 years ago. Don't try to force everyone into college preparation classes. Some people don't want to or can't afford to go to college.

So far look like Trump is not going to win...Almost 50% in down 4%.......

The problem is there is no way to "make our high schools good enough". In our bad schools are a bunch of ****** up kids who have never really been parented since birth. There is nothing we are going to be able to do for any school that is going to educate these kids. The only thing we can do is institute school choice, allow those who are able to qualify academically to take their tax dollars with them, to private schools, so that the disadvantaged families who still manage to parent their children aren't forced by geography to attend schools with a bunch of idiot thugs.

My man Rand at the top of the B group with 4%.

dont see him gaining 4000 votes in 25%....

Meh, Trump is only down a couple percent. I don't think he'll take it too hard. Everyone is "great people", a few of them just voted the wrong way.

This is kind of what I thought would happen. There are those who are sure they will vote for Trump and those who are sure they won't. The ones who won't have been split up between the rest of the field...but now that push is coming to shove they are starting to come together and solidify between a couple of candidates. This is the beginning of the end for Trump, and I for one am very happy about that. Either Cruz or Rubio will make a much better candidate than Trump.

I think you have to include Carson in the B group now.

I'd like to know where the 25% who didn't vote for one of the top three would vote if and when their candidates drop out. That could be really bad news for Trump.

Cruz/Rubio=winning ticket hands down

Huckabee announced he is dropping out.

Cruz's camp started a rumor that Carson dropped out.
