Well with all that pushing and shoving lets see how Tomlin keeps this team motivated and ready to play Sunday against a bad Jet team and the next week against Titans. These two games could be a big factor in making the playoffs and so far Tomlin has not shown he can have a team ready against teams we should win.
These next two weeks will be a test. Passing the test is not just winning. This will get lots of guys stirred up but how we win. Did the team squeak one out or did they turn in a sharp performance looking like they were executing a game plan and winning because of it. If we end up winning because the other team throws the damn game away and worked harder at loosing than we did we will be back to the same old ****.
Does Tomlin make good use of time outs, challenges, have the proper personnel on the field in time to get the damn play off. Does go all game with out the wtf look on his face does special teams respond to his call for better performance, does the team come out with decent adjustments to the injuries they just suffered. All of those things will be important in how we on the message board look at MT.
If he is going to get credit for some positives then he sure as hell will get credit for the negatives. I am hoping he finally shows that he has become the coach we wanted when he was hired instead of coach cool shades.

This is the same nonsense we heard last week. The Baltimore game is the real test, blah, blah, blah...
A win is a win. Go look at the Jets results, game by game. They are not getting blown out every week, most of their games have been fairly tight. They lost to the Patriots by 2 (at New England) in Week 7. Now they have Percy Harvin. Their front seven is quite talented. Their running game is ranked quite high (~ 3rd in the NFL). I think it's complete bullshit to take the stance that anything other than an easy, blowout win by the Steelers is a poor reflection on Tomlin.
And coaches never list players falsely on injury reports either? So, who exactly was your source that let's you know for SURE that he was good to go before they got him on the field? Did you do some research not available to everyone else that guaranteed you he was completely healthy regardless of listing? You can call me whatever you want, you're nobody in the grand scheme of things and neither am I. What's overrated are the chest thumping, supposed inside info know it all whiners that are turning this board in to a big tampon factory. Rock on with your bad self.
Chill gotta win first bruh!!!!
This week is huge. We will find out if this new Steeler team is just on a temporary high from the injection of a couple of Cowher-era stalwarts, or have really turned the corner. We'll see if we can deal with success, and dominate this shitbag of a team, or revert to the team that shitbag teams get healthy against. This is a classic Tomlin trap game. We dominate these guys, and I will shut up about Tomlin.
Nothing revisionist about it. Keisel made a difference, and if you are saying that this defense didn't get a different energy with Harrison, then we are just not tracking. Like I said, lets see how we do this week. It's either back to Tomlin-land, or we are on to something. Was Ben a Cowher era stalwart or was that just someone that looked like him, or are we talking more revisionist bullshit right above?

Yes, Ben was a Cowher-era stalwart. Takes more than one, apparently.

Sure, buddy. Tomlin was right at the heart of some huge behind-the-scenes conspiracy to falsely list a guy who had never suited up in an NFL game at that point as probable instead of questionable.
What the hell are you babbling about?
Once again, I'm not "thumping" anything. YOU agreed that Bryant missed four weeks because of injury. YOU stated that it was a FACT. YOU were ******* WRONG. Just admit it already.
Yes, but losses don't reflect on the coaches. Just the wins.

Nobody said that, don't go getting confused again.
